I have never used Yahoo Publisher Network before, and I was wondering how it compares to google adsense's CTR and earning per click?

Here is the down low with YPN. It has 2 different feeds..

Content match feed- open to the public, and anyone can apply for approval

Premium feed- invite only

The content match feed is worthless in my opinion, as i have been approved and hadn't made a dime.

However the Yahoo Premium feed beats both AdSense and the Yahoo Content match feed.

I have been using the Premium feed for several months and have seen Great results. Depending on the niche you are in and the way your site receives traffic i have got over 500 dollars a day.

YPN used to be better than AdSense while ago. Many US AdSense Publishers had moved to YPN cause of this. But now it seems YPN is going down. They just keeping the program under beta and also click values going down too.

there was a recent dip in ypn earnings across the board, but it turned out just to be a reporting error. not sure whether ypn is better or adsense, but testing both out every now and then is a good idea.

IF their rates are drop down right now then they must not start it internationally as it will drop it more after that :O

It's time to switch from Adsense anyway.
Something is going wrong with it recently...

Problems with AdSense

there are a couple things wrong with AdSense.

1. Their payouts are crap, they are a huge company that is well known. They are commonly known to only pay out 40 to 50 percent of the Advertisers bid price.

2. They do not allow Paid traffic to AdSense Ads.

3. They have been known to just stop paying you, and blaming it on going against their TOS.

I use a smaller online advertising company that I am much happier with. They offer Premium Feeds, payout much higher than Google, and are much more reliable to work with. I work with my rep daily.

PM me if you want details, i believe its worth your time to at least look into them

not sure of those things make them "wrong" per se. does this advertising company you're with offer anywhere near the range of advertisers as adsense? does it even serve relevant ads, etc?
