The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
that's not an opinion thats running xyz monopoly ..alone..forever. it's not a bad thing... but it kinda becomes bad when u deny it

Have you ever considered the fact that other domainers/investors might also be having some incredible amounts of xyz sales and they aren't just interested in reporting them, maybe because of people like you or maybe because they want to make the most out of it before others come to know.

I know some $xxxx xyz sales that haven't been reported, maybe because those sellers don't wanna attract individuals like you or may be they have some ulterior motives.

Of course it is fair to assume that no one (or hardly anyone) might be having sales at prices and volumes of Swetha's levels but there are plethora of 4 fig and 3 fig sales happening.

.xyz is really rocking right now, and you might not be having any clue about it. Open your eyes, research a little, scout social platforms and you will see the part of the iceberg that is under the sea level.

I wish you the best.

The game has moved beyond one worders, even 2 word xyz domains are doing well.

good luck with yer research of 2word xyz sales for 4..5.. and 6fig.

Here is one for you, I know this because I sold this domain to the seller for only $99 and he sold it via SH. I kept track of the domain.

Hi

i don't think your names are the type that's driving .xyz popularity.

for instance: startour, could be seen as start our or star tour.
that distinction has to been seen by a potential.

no one can predict the future, you can only hedge against it, like some apparently have done.
but just because you have a domain with .xyz extension, doesn't give it automatic value.

imo....

..."but just because you have a domain with .XYZ ext doesn't give it automatic value" yes I know. For the domain, it's Star tour.xyz not start our. Thanks sharing

a $40k purchase just to have the domain park... yea whatever..

With the hype XYZ is getting, I would expect Winning.xyz to sell for $4-5k wholesale if five figures is a typically end user sale.
Sorry to disturb you. Please carry on with your opinions.

Hi Swetha, thank you for sharing your sales. I think it's great honestly, and I don't know anything about you personally so I can't question the authenticity of your work.

From a spectator's perspective, I just find it odd that XYZ is hyped so much and only a handful of domainers are really getting consistent 5 figure sales. I'm not one to jump on the bandwagon, so I don't own any xyz at the moment. I may acquire one in the future if a good deal shows up, but it's not my focus.

Do you have any tips for other domainers that may be swallowed by the hype and aren't getting quite the success that you are? I'm sure these sales aren't falling out of the sky for you, and you're putting in the work to make it happen. Thanks for your time.

u are smart man... u should know better than getting a.half decent xyz like winning..for say 3fig.. is anything but easy sale and guarantee of some 4 or 5fig sale.. if profiting was this easy we would all be doing it..the truth is.. unless u have 1000s of 1word like winning .. u just holding fools gold lotto tickets.

A perfect example is Winning.xyz sold for $711 at Godaddy auctions and Swetha sold Happening.xyz for $40,000. Something doesn't seem right to me.
Really, it keeps me wondering

I thought this place was for adults to learn and discuss the domain industry. It's getting more and more like a child's playground 😕

I work with lots of buyer and am seeing an increase in buyers who are 'seeking' an XYZ. If asked why they like the extension, they point to its use by Alphabet and the memorable/easy to spell aspect. Certainly not the solution for everyone; but it has some stickiness and seems to be a growing niche like dot IO.

all the stuff u take blindly for granted duh

Im just saying imo that winning.xyz sold to and investor and happening sold to a end user.

If your xyz sells congratulations 🎉🍾 🎈every sellers can not sell the names for the same price.

Great domains drive a price but great sellers command a standard price point.

Don’t hate the player hate the game.
