domain x.recipes - worth holding onto? $85 year renewal

I am conflicted with this site, will it be worth something in one, two, five years? Being a L.ccTLD, I have to believe that its rarity and being one of the better letters (correct me if I'm wrong) besides e.recipes or i.recipes, the renewal is 85 a year. If I wait five years that will be $425.

Any input on this matter would be helpful.

X is a useful letter in branding, and has scope across many niches.

Although X is not traditionally associated with food, it may have more powerful branding in the adult, programming, gaming and many other niches.

xrecipes.com is a food related site albeit work in progress/experimentation.

Most of the 'X' domain sales reported are only 4 characters to type (including the dot) eg. x.de which sold for $40,000 at the end of last year. This makes them the shortest possible to type or remember, x.recipes has 9 characters and so it's not has rare in this regard.

I can only suggest to either find an enduser or become one yourself as the renewal fees with eat in to any profit you might get in the long run.

Consistent with my appraisal, I voted Find End User. You do have benefit of low renewal, new one char are $500/year, you can use that as a selling point.
