First let me say, Kudos to Paypal, I never thought they
owned this domain :o

Is this site new? (I know the domain isin't)
Anybody heard about it or tried it?

i remember x.com. it was paypal before paypal was paypal. I remember getting 10 buks to sign up, and then some foreign hackers signed up a bazillion accounts and took them for some real dough. I used to have an x.com trading account i believe, back in 99

Of the above addresses, as of May 2008 only two, x.org and i.net, actually host a Web site directly in the single-letter domain in question. Three others redirect to sites in different domains, and one, q.net does not appear to be active for Web use.

I can't remember exactly when the site came about but yes, it's relatively new. They've owned it all along but it wasn't developed until recently. I know it's lack of development had been discussed on here several times -- I wonder if domainers harassed them to the point of developing it!

Yup me too. X.com rocked..I wish Paypal didn't buy them. The market for payment processor competition would be much better.
