While doing a little research on Web Alerts, I noticed that more and more people are offering them. It seems to me that this personal should have been franchised by one of the big alerters. Ebay has MyEbay. Yahoo has MyYahoo, etc. Well, everyone offers web alerts, but no one had MyWebAlerts, and My Web Alerts are what matter to me.

UserAlert.com and UserAlerts.com kind of came out of the same research. Thinking there should be a better way for companies to communicate tech issues with their users.

Anyway, I know it may sound sketchy, but please appraise to the best of your opinions.

Thanks, David

I think they are all very good names. The mobile alert/text message era is about to take hold. I think your names are going to be very valuable. UserAlert/s are good and short. They arent very specific, that may work for you or against you. If I were you I would plan on sitting on them for a while, if you want good money. The Mywebalert.com domain is good too, everyone seems to love just about any domain that starts with My. I would appraise UserAlert/s at mid xxx each and Mywebalert.com at high Xx to low Xxx. I personally have SMSMobileAlerts.com which is the exact term, but not in the slightest bit brandable, I intend on sitting on it.

Well I see myalerts.com was resgistered several years ago and there isn't much going on there...by adding another three finger taps into the same name you've taken many people away from the type in...not sure but to us it sounds like a grab at the straw!

But still...

Good Luck!

Obviously I did not reg the name because someone else's site is developed or successful, but rather because of the niche market and it's development potential. I think the future of this name is many times greater than the past, just by the nature of technology and the market.

Thank you all for your input. and appraisals. Would like more please.

(Man I like quality posts whether the are favorable or not.)

Thanks, David
