Sold 6-7.xyz on Spaceship that was listed for a $500 Buy It Now & $100 Minimum Offer. Spaceship apparently without my approval sold it ts the $100 minimum offer without asking my approval. I was under the impression they needed my approval for any sale under the Buy It Now Price. I am furious. Am I the one that is in the wrong? Can Spaceship and all these places just accept a minimum offer price without a sellers approval first? As I can use the $95 Chump Change I am not asking them to reverse the sale, beggers can't be choosers but I obviously need to change my minimum offer prices if this is how it is. Spaceship way of Communication to Sellers is in my opinion terrible. They should have phoned me if they can afford a phone and explain to me what their sales process is. In my opinion as a Columbia University MBA, a one time record company owner & a career account/auditor, this is not the way to run a business. Goodwill counts!

Buy It Now price should be the purchase price.

Minimum Offer should just be the lowest price they can come in with an offer at to avoid $20 tire kickers etc...

You didn't have lease to own on did ya?

Exactly and so far Spaceship is just not giving me an answer.

I don't use Spaceship, but would guess there might be some confusion with the settings you used.

It sounds something like "floor price" on Afternic, which is the minimum you will sell a domain for.

Outside that, a "minimum offer" is just an offer...and should not trigger a sale without you accepting it.

Don't think there is floor there Brad just Buy It Now, Minimum, Lease so if no lease was done it was just Buy It Now and Minimum figures entered.

Spaceship needs to clarify then, because "minimum offer" never means the price I am going to accept.

It is simply the minimum offer.

If the domain was priced at 500$ BIN and it sold for 100$ , there are 2 ways :

- The domain had a 100$ BIN
- The domain had a 500$ BIN , but you accepted the 100$ offer

There is no Floor Price at SpaceShip

I do use lease to own but in this case I think off the top of my head cause the domain info is no longer there, one can't use lease to own if Buy it Now is $500 or less. Spaceship does not have a Floor Price just Minimum Offer and Buy It Now. They still have not given me an answer what happened other than double chat talk, lol. I probably would have settled for $200 if they asked me but they didn't. At this point I'm not going to tell them to change this transaction as I don't want to throw $95 out on hand but they screwed me and what's to prevent them from doing this again. I automatically increased minimum offer to $250 or more on all of my domains.

I did and all that is on is the domain, buyer name, sold & sales price. Nothing else. I was going to show a screen shot but I can't take out the sellers name without scanning and blocking it out. The worst thing is they won't respond timely and use their no phones allowed to hide behind.

I've sold .xyz domains on SpaceShip before. I just received an offer today.

In my experience, it's very likely that there's a problem with your settings.

Please provide more evidence, not just verbal statements.

Yeah I have nothing better to do but make things up. How exactly do you want me to provide evidence of something that no longer exists? What exactly would you want me to show you? That the Buy It Now Price wasn't $500 or the minimum offer price wasn't $100? You think I used a $100 Buy It Now Price? There are no other settings, dude. Buy It Now, Minimum Offer and Lease to own. If it was a lease to own sale they would say so. Do you see the word Offer below!

Based on your impatient attitude, I can tell that the problem lies with you, yet you're blaming others.

Sorry for going off topic, but why do you use make offer option at all with the measly $500 BIN? Why not just $499 or $299 BIN (= take it or leave it).

However, why even register a domain if you're not comfortable with putting at least a $1k price tag on it?

Why because I've never made one god damn sale of a domain for more than $400 as this whole thing is rigged. The ones I've put a price of more than $1,000 don't sell. I don't believe half the sales on this site, sorry. In this case I registered an xyz domain for $4 or less. You tell me why Elmore.ai which has an appraised value from $31,000 to $9,000 the last time I looked hasn't gotten 1 legit offer (minimum offer $2,500) in 2 years. Oh, sorry. Some retard offered me $95 for it a few months ago and the great humanitarian Biggie took exception to me referring to this retard as "clown" and as a result, anything I post on Namepros gets reviewed for 1 or 2 hours before it gets posted. In the case of the one domain I sold, as far as I know I listed it at $500 with a minimum offer of $100 & next thing I was told it sold for $100. After going nowhere with Spaceship's no phone communication, communication, I just gave up cause $95 on $4 is better than nothing. I probably am going to lower most of my Spaceshiip domain prices to $100 for domains I spent less than $5 on. I can'rt even get $250 on CC1.org. Open offer & a dare to anyone on Namepros, you want CC1.org for $250 just paypal me that and you'll get it. But no one will do it. I'm just glad that this is more of a hobby than anything else with a budget of less than $800 a year. I guess I'm more angry at myself for playing a rigged sport as I should know better.
