I believe that President Biden was right when he said that Russia is going to Invade Ukraine.

Any intelligent person is going to come to the same conclusion knowing that Russia has already decided to pay any price imposed on it by the West through sanctions.

Short of full military confrontation by the West there is nothing that can make Russia to change its mind as they see this as a golden opportunity to resurrect the once powerful superpower that was equal to the USA.

But Russia’s ambitions are not going to stop with taking over Ukraine since it already has made plans to increase its sphere of influence to Asia, Middle East, and South America and perhaps the whole World knowing that the West is most likely not going to do anything beyond just imposing sanctions which ultimately will hurt the West itself by effecting the Global economy in an adverse way the longer that they go on.

I personally don’t like any of the old ideologies, philosophies, and doctrines of Capitalism, Communism, Socialism, Religious Fundamentalism and all the other “ism” that are derived from the bad human characteristics of Greed, Lust, Hate, Cruelty, Jealousy, Prejudice, and lack of Empathy and that have been infringing on our rights in one way or another throughout the history because they can only exist through supporting inequality, oppression, suppression, torture, killing, and War.

When it comes to saving the World the last thing that I want to see is the further expansion of these old systems that have all already proven to be a failure in dealing with the existential problems that are currently facing Humanity and the Environment.

We don’t want all these political, Religious, and Racial parties and groups to resurrect their past, we want something new that can propel the World into the next Era that is based on the Universal Principles and Values that have been derived through Logic and Compassion and not through Force and Violence.

By “We” I mean all the Intelligent, Righteous, and Peace loving people of the World.

I hope that the current peace talks can result in a ceasefire so that all the civilians that are trapped in Mariupol and the other besieged Cities can be saved. And at a higher level I hope that there is going to be an end to all the death and destruction that has been going on for over a month now in Ukraine.

We need to keep in mind that soldiers on both sides are people too and I hope that all this senseless killings can come to an end soon not only in Ukraine, but also in all the other hot spots around the World where people are being subjected to pain and suffering.

I believe that most people want to see Peace rather than War. In my opinion President Biden was influenced by the group mentality of the NATO leaders in his trip to Europe when he misspoke. Same way that some people might get influenced by the group mentality on this thread.

But in order to end all the hostilities and to achieve true Peace we can’t allow the truth to get lost among all the propaganda and misinformation that is being peddled by all the different sides.

We should consider all sides to this story without biased or prejudice and try to figure out what went wrong so that we can fix any mistakes that have taken place thus far regardless of which side they were made by.

We should not allow ourselves to be influenced by the cold war mentality that still exists in some of the European Countries which has now resulted in burning all the bridges between the West and Russia.

There was a time that there were good relations between Russia and the United States. Back during the George Bush (W) presidency he even invited Putin to his ranch in Texas and it all seemed to be going very well between them.

All these problems started because of some of the European Countries who continued with their cold war mentality of the past which resulted in them trying to weaken Russia by putting a design on Ukraine and some of the other East European Countries and by placing missile systems in some of the places that had just joined NATO.

In no way do I approve of some of the inhumane methods that Russia is using right now to deal with Ukraine, but we should also not forget about the atrocities that were committed against the people in the Donbas region which prompted Russia to intervene on their behalf in those areas.

It seems to me that all sides here are guilty in one way or another and have the blood of innocent people on their hands. The only way to have true Peace at this time is to fix the mistakes of the past without biased or prejudice and to not allow ourselves to be influenced by the group mentality whether when visiting Europe or reading this thread.

People in Kyiv have shown with their bravery that they are not going to live under Russian rule and Russia knows that it can't exterminate millions of people and so it has decided to concentrate all its efforts on the Eastern half of Ukraine.

Below is what I said on page 7 of this thread back in March 3, 2022:

The situation in Ukraine is the pure invasion of a sovereign country and democracy by a megalomaniac and mass murderer in order to reinstate his dreams of the Soviet Union.
Add it to the fact that Putin is a dictator that badly hates seeing Ukraine with freedom and democracy for its people, and you have the reason of Putin's aggression and massacre in Ukraine.

For Putin, the real threat is that russian people can see how ukrainians live in democracy with true elections and freedom, and so, in near future, also ask for freedom and real democracy in Russia. That is what really panics Putin.

Sorry that you feel dissappointed, but I just tell you the facts. Nobody has proved that video to be true, so until that moment, we all should refrain from repeating very possible russian propaganda.
We all know what kind of incredible nonsense, lies and manipulated news come from Putin's propaganda machine.
Of course you cannot fight war crimes with war crimes. But for the moment the only true, real and atrocious war crimes have been committed by Putler troops.
