I believe that President Biden was right when he said that Russia is going to Invade Ukraine.

Any intelligent person is going to come to the same conclusion knowing that Russia has already decided to pay any price imposed on it by the West through sanctions.

Short of full military confrontation by the West there is nothing that can make Russia to change its mind as they see this as a golden opportunity to resurrect the once powerful superpower that was equal to the USA.

But Russia’s ambitions are not going to stop with taking over Ukraine since it already has made plans to increase its sphere of influence to Asia, Middle East, and South America and perhaps the whole World knowing that the West is most likely not going to do anything beyond just imposing sanctions which ultimately will hurt the West itself by effecting the Global economy in an adverse way the longer that they go on.

I personally don’t like any of the old ideologies, philosophies, and doctrines of Capitalism, Communism, Socialism, Religious Fundamentalism and all the other “ism” that are derived from the bad human characteristics of Greed, Lust, Hate, Cruelty, Jealousy, Prejudice, and lack of Empathy and that have been infringing on our rights in one way or another throughout the history because they can only exist through supporting inequality, oppression, suppression, torture, killing, and War.

When it comes to saving the World the last thing that I want to see is the further expansion of these old systems that have all already proven to be a failure in dealing with the existential problems that are currently facing Humanity and the Environment.

We don’t want all these political, Religious, and Racial parties and groups to resurrect their past, we want something new that can propel the World into the next Era that is based on the Universal Principles and Values that have been derived through Logic and Compassion and not through Force and Violence.

By “We” I mean all the Intelligent, Righteous, and Peace loving people of the World.

I'm in the process of listening to the video below...so far it seems like it might be helpful should it reach those in Russia that have been bombarded with falsehoods and misinformation.

BTW, what are the clown countries that voted to side with Putin (Russia) at the UN? Whoever they are, they should be shunned/isolated as well (if not already).

EDIT/ADD: "The five countries that voted against it were Russia, Belarus, Syria, North Korea and Eritrea."

China's power is their economy though, not their military. I don't see how it gives them more power by tanking it and breaking financial partnerships with western nations.
Ultimately no country can sustain power without a strong economy. But the current Chinese leadership are ignorant of economics. For 15 years, they have been are coasting off the gains of their predecessors, who had been making steady improvements. The current leadership are megalomaniacs, even more than Putin. If little Russia can disrupt the global economy, just watch what China can do. They also have spies throughout the West, as well as non-traditional warfare that is likely far ahead of the US.

They will string the West along as long as they can. Then they will strike. Unless the current regime is replaced.

Totally agree. In fact China only sides with Russia because they two have a very "similar" kind of government (no democracy). But that's all. Besides that, China has never been really "friends" with its "neighbor".

But when talking about economy... that's the true power of China, that's their life and their true progress, and they are not gonna play with that if they have to choose between Russia and their economy (they totally rely on the West and the rest of the world to do business and exports).

Although they have the same type of "government", China leadership is way smarter than the current deranged russian Hitler.
The Chinese economy has grown annually at very high levels thanks to the global economy, and they are not going to sacrifice that (due to possible sanctions from the rest of the world) for supporting the Russian Hitler.

The last thing China wants now are sanctions or a sharp global market slowdown, let alone a war.

You all keep in mind that China is still a Communist Country at heart despite all its advancements in the global trade that it has been enjoying for the past several years.

And don't forget that long before the Russia conflict got started the West was messing around with China over its Human Rights records and was also trying to cut it down to size because of all the trade deficits.

So it's not like China was being treated like a best friend till now,

And I am sure that China is going to figure all that in its calculations when deciding which camp it wants to be a part of.

The other thing to keep in mind is that China can still prosper by expanding its trade with Africa, Asia, middle East, and South America even if it is somehow sanctioned by the West.

China is not a Communist Country. It's a "State Capitalism" system, or maybe a "Socialist Market Economy" as they call it. But definitely not a Communist one.
The only communist thing they have is the name of the "Chinese Communist Party" that rules the country without any opposition.

Thank you @RussiaUN for your letter dated March 16.

Please see our suggested edits below. #StandWithUkraine #RespectTheCharter

The cynicism of Putin and his ambassador at the UN has no limits.
Again, they seem to really belive that the rest of the World will believe all their blatant lies to the face.
Maybe they think the rest of the world just watch Russian TV?
The Russian Hitler has gone totally out of this world.

The comments of the canadian delegation in the UN (suggested edits) are really worth reading.

I said a Communist Country at heart. And that’s probably how the party elders see themselves right now despite the fact that they are willing to play along with the West as long as they see it to be in their benefit,

But it will take at least couple of more generations before they truly become what you are describing here.

Nevertheless as I had mentioned before we might end up with two totally separate economical and trade hubs.

One that includes Russia and China and their satellite Countries that depend on them,

And another one which includes US and Europe and their satellite Countries that want to remain as part of the free World as they see it.

No matter how you look at it there is going to be a major shift in the Way that the World is going to be run even after the current conflict in Ukraine is over.

Sorry for the delayed response, I had to take a knap so that I wouldn't get overly tired.

As I had mentioned before China has a difficult choice to make,

We have to see if they are going to be able to do a balancing act between their economical interests which clearly is to have the West as a trading partner and their political interests and agendas which is to protect themselves from those in the West that want to undermine their government and prevent them from becoming a stronger superpower.

You have to understand that all the major powers in the World regardless of whether we consider them to be good or bad are and have been engaged in a negative and destructive competition with each other behind the scenes over the years and as such are constantly trying to undermine one another even during the peace times and this is really at the root cause of many of the problems that we are facing today.

We always see the World leaders smiling and shacking hands with each other out in the open, but at the same time most are constantly plotting against one another behind the scenes which if it continues can cause more distrust and hostilities to come to surface more often which is going to result in shattering the false sence of security that people seem to have about things.

You need to ask yourself why would China be spending so much money on modernizing their Military if all they wanted was to advance their peaceful trade and economical interests.

As the matter of fact it seems that China has been using its good economical relations with the West in the past couple of decades to build up its army even more instead of investing in some peaceful projects such as trying to eliminate hunger and disease in some of the less affluent Countries.

At the end of the day you have to accept the fact that China might feel more at home with Russia than with the West.

China is in the drivers seat , they burn the candle at both ends and there is nothing anyone can do about it, if they wanted to, they could turn against the west , and Bankrupt the west , China has a 17.1 Trillion dollar reserve , the west almost solely relies on China for its goods , including pharmaceuticals… granted almost every billionaire and multi billionaire relies on China because they have businesses in China and do business with China … China can sit back and rub their tummies right now. I feel China may just have accomplished their agenda of being the superpower of the world with the Russia - Ukraine conflict taking place and how it is working out.. the question is , will the US just relinquish that superpower status , or will China break the US financially and take it IMO

Ukrainian officials have rescued 130 people so far from under the rubble of a theatre in Mariupol destroyed by a Russian airstrike on Wednesday.

Ukrainian human rights ombudswoman Lyudmyla Denisova confirmed the figures in a televised address Friday, but said roughly 1,300 people remain trapped under the wreckage.

Russia has denied bombing the theatre.

I don’t think it’s unfair to say America was the only country to emerge from WW2 smelling of roses.

It was the war that all the former great powers fell either by losing the war or was broke financially afterwards.

Unless there’s another great war that involves Europe and has America involved and drags on where it cripples America, all the economic maps in the west are all drawn out now and all countries seem content with that – So America will dominate that for the foreseeable future, the only rival to the US from the western side is the EU, which basically operates as a nation anyway and without Britain can push for its status as a ‘United States of Europe’ which the UK always held it back from becoming (UK was always against that).

China will dominate the east, but I can’t see why that will have an effect on what America does.

China’s growth is not through global expansion, China’s growth is just from within, 4 out of the top 5 biggest banks in the world are Chinese yet people in the west may not have even heard of them because 90% of their trade is from within:-

I think this will remain, Chinese businesses/culture won’t be at the forefront of western lives and I can’t see Mandarin being the most universal spoken language in the world even in 200 years, but i still think English and western culture will still have a big impact on Asian lives which means Asians will ‘want’ and in many ways will still ‘need’ to learn English.

Not all wars are bad. War against evil is good. By evil I don't mean Ukraine, I mean zionazi system installed there by force which commited lots of crimes since then, and was about to do a lot worse things.

Speaking of the need to keep English as a Universal language I believe that we also need to expand on the Universal signs too.

I know that + is used for Hospital, but we should also come up with a sign that means 'Children Present' .

Such a sign perhaps could have saved the Mariupol theater from getting bombed (I am saying perhaps).

I know that they had written the word Children on the ground outside, but I don't believe that it was recognizable from way up in the sky, but if there was a Universal sign for Children written on the building itself that was large enough to be seen by the pilots perhaps they wouldn't have bombed it.

Something simple that could be recognized internationally for Children. IMO

Something Like: °|°

(that’s all I could type on my phone, I am sure they can find something nicer)

Not all wars are bad. War against evil is good.
War should be avoided as much as possible,

People need to settle their differences by trying to find common grounds over the Universal Principles and Values that are derived through Logic and Compassion.

Evil should be contained and eventually be eliminated from the society by getting rid of the bad human characteristics that are holding the Humanity back from being a Force For Good.

Hopefully in the near future we can purify the human genes and the human mind and cleanse them from all that is harmful.

Meanwhile creating self awareness and discipline through education and having a support system to look after one another from childhood beyond what the parents could provide on their own is a better way than inflicting harsh and cruel punishment on people or killing them by bombs and missiles.

If China “Wanted To” they could put the US on its knees , sure, China would lose a ton of money .. but they have made a ton of money and have a healthy money reserve , if China decided to follow suit to become the world superpower , they could obtain it easily now IMO

They have been recruited for the rally by the russian Hitler. The most amount of brave russian protesters have been jailed by the russian terrorist in chief. The coward dictator is afraid of russians freely expressing their opinion against the war and against his war crimes in Ukraine.

Okay I am back,

I did a little gardening yesterday which helped me relax.

As far as what's going to happen going forward I believe that we are all in this for the long haul,

Our future has changed forever by the recent events and we are going to be dealing with a divided World between the US and Europe camp on one side and the Russia and China camp on the other side for the foreseeable future.

Both camps are equally powerful and so going forward I don't believe that International Courts or the United Nations can hold anyone accountable like they do with some of the third World Countries.

The best that we can hope for at this point is for all the bombings to stop and for this to just turn into a cold War with all sides being totally separated from one another.

Keep in mind that when I give an opinion it does not imply whether I believe what is going to happen is right or wrong, but rather that it's what my senses tell me is most likely to happen.

On a related note I was impressed by the speech given by the Ukraine President to his US audience specially at the very beginning where it showed how peaceful Kyiv and the other Cities in Ukraine were before the war got started.

I hope that all the killings stops soon and that there can be peace in Ukraine again,

Meanwhile seeing how peaceful Kyiv was before the War got me thinking as to what are the most peaceful Cities and Countries in the World and how we need to help keep them that way. IMO

Through out time “Division” has been settled by fighting , there comes a point in Division with humans that all we can do is fight to resolve it , it’s been happening since the beginning of time .

Take what has happened in the USA , it’s virtually a 50-50 divided country , nothing so far has resolved the division , the division has only gotten worse, the division of the country has reached a point of possibly no return unless the division is settled and there is clearly a winner from one side …
