I believe that President Biden was right when he said that Russia is going to Invade Ukraine.

Any intelligent person is going to come to the same conclusion knowing that Russia has already decided to pay any price imposed on it by the West through sanctions.

Short of full military confrontation by the West there is nothing that can make Russia to change its mind as they see this as a golden opportunity to resurrect the once powerful superpower that was equal to the USA.

But Russia’s ambitions are not going to stop with taking over Ukraine since it already has made plans to increase its sphere of influence to Asia, Middle East, and South America and perhaps the whole World knowing that the West is most likely not going to do anything beyond just imposing sanctions which ultimately will hurt the West itself by effecting the Global economy in an adverse way the longer that they go on.

I personally don’t like any of the old ideologies, philosophies, and doctrines of Capitalism, Communism, Socialism, Religious Fundamentalism and all the other “ism” that are derived from the bad human characteristics of Greed, Lust, Hate, Cruelty, Jealousy, Prejudice, and lack of Empathy and that have been infringing on our rights in one way or another throughout the history because they can only exist through supporting inequality, oppression, suppression, torture, killing, and War.

When it comes to saving the World the last thing that I want to see is the further expansion of these old systems that have all already proven to be a failure in dealing with the existential problems that are currently facing Humanity and the Environment.

We don’t want all these political, Religious, and Racial parties and groups to resurrect their past, we want something new that can propel the World into the next Era that is based on the Universal Principles and Values that have been derived through Logic and Compassion and not through Force and Violence.

By “We” I mean all the Intelligent, Righteous, and Peace loving people of the World.

IMO

As a dual citizen of Canada, it is annoying this tyrant has to be associated with such a popular dish. If people have not tried poutine, you don't know what you are missing.

Poutine or Putin? People are conflating fries and gravy with the Russian president.

Biden calls Putin a ‘war criminal,’ commits to new military aid to Ukraine

https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/wh...d-ukraine-zelenskyy-plea-us-support-rcna20257

"Speaking at the White House, Biden said the new aid package would drastically increase the amount of military support going to Ukraine to include 800 anti-aircraft systems, 9,000 anti-armor systems, 7,000 small arms like shotguns and grenade launchers, as well as drones and other military equipment.

No surprise, he wants to kill people with forced vaccines.
Why not speak against chemtrails instead.

What's the matter with you(?)

Where does that video of Biden ‘suggesting’ America being involved in a military operation go with your point of war crimes?

Ie:- the illegal invasion of a sovereign nation, deliberately blowing up civilian property that didn't need to be targeted and the actual targeting of civilians and use illegal weapons?

Putin is going to be tried for crimes against humanity without doubt (with or without him detained) and should he be found guilty, for the rest of Putin’s life if travels outside Russia, the country he steps foot in is obligated to arrest him by law.

I hope we see him in a court room in hand cuffs in criminal rags with his botox worn off, but even if not, it will further alienate Russia should he still be clinging onto power and the history books will forever say ‘war criminal’ next to his name, what a great legacy to leave behind.

Just to be clear: Are we talking about Yugoslavia bombardment?

I don’t think Putin will ever be tried for war crimes , Putin now knows he has NO exit from this , I think it’s either suicide , someone very close to him , or he releases every Nuke he can … which ever , it is going to happen very soon I think

I think he could. It's not about what Putin wants its about whats best for Russia and for Russia to ever to emerge from being a pariah state, regardless what happens in Ukraine now, Putin has to go.

It's the only way Russia can ever build relations with the west and the world again. I think Russia could put him on trial themselves, problem is this would be all for show as it will be difficult for Russia to change its mentality and there will always another Putin to step up.

You only have to look at Russia's former pm and how he talks about Ukraine/the west and all people Putin has around him, the guy on the UN security council and this horrible bastard:-

LBJHNU2QZJOVBGLYKPOOZTCJIM.jpg

Even Russian state media, Russia has 'power' 'imperialism' imbedded into it's principles as a nation that goes way beyond Putin, in that the next guy who comes after Putin must also share these values in bringing the Soviet Union back.

Russia will always be that threat against world security until (horrible as it to say) there's another great war and Russia is made to change or there is a complete change in mentality from the TikTok generation today or tomorrow that share western values and changes Russia from within from Russia's Soviet mentality.

Problem is while Russian people are still alive today from cold war era (such as Putin), there will always be hatred towards the west and people around who want to restore old Russia, these people are currently in power.

Okay I am back,

I did a little gardening yesterday which helped me relax.

As far as what's going to happen going forward I believe that we are all in this for the long haul,

Our future has changed forever by the recent events and we are going to be dealing with a divided World between the US and Europe camp on one side and the Russia and China camp on the other side for the foreseeable future.

Both camps are equally powerful and so going forward I don't believe that International Courts or the United Nations can hold anyone accountable like they do with some of the third World Countries.

The best that we can hope for at this point is for all the bombings to stop and for this to just turn into a cold War with all sides being totally separated from one another.

Keep in mind that when I give an opinion it does not imply whether I believe what is going to happen is right or wrong, but rather that it's what my senses tell me is most likely to happen.

On a related note I was impressed by the speech given by the Ukraine President to his US audience specially at the very beginning where it showed how peaceful Kyiv and the other Cities in Ukraine were before the war got started.

I hope that all the killings stops soon and that there can be peace in Ukraine again,

Meanwhile seeing how peaceful Kyiv was before the War got me thinking as to what are the most peaceful Cities and Countries in the World and how we need to help keep them that way. IMO

There is/has been a 'wall' of surveillance and refueling aircraft running from Belarus to the Black Sea including a NATO plane I've not seen a lot . Several medical choppers are headed toward the border where several military craft went earlier.

In case anyone follows these things, this aircraft, RA-96017 generally carries high level Russian diplomats...left Moscow and it is in the extreme north of Russia and destination is not known. UPDATE...it seems to be in the area where some say Putin's bunker is...perhaps history is repeating itself.

My garden has not sprouted yet, so I am taking the rest of the day to play some golf and block out world events for a while.

Draw your own conclusions.

Putin has been warning for years that he will not accept Ukraine being part of NATO.

Biden through Nato encourages the possibility of Ukraine join Nato.

On the third day of war, Russia asks to Zelensky not join Nato.

Zelensky today agrees not to join Nato and the war is about to end.

First of all, who gives a shit what Putin wants.

Second of all, that is far from the reason he gave for actually going in where he claimed part of their country (Donbas) as Russian territory, and said he wanted "the demilitarization and denazification" of Ukraine. They basically don't even recognize Ukraine's right to exist as a sovereign country.

Ukraine is a sovereign country whether he likes it or not. They can make their own decisions.

It is hard to believe Russia is negotiating in good faith, and wants to end this "special military operation" AKA unjustified attack, while they continue to indiscriminately attack and kill civilians daily.

There is no victory for Russia here. The Ukrainian people will not accept a Russian occupation. The world will not accept it.

The war has gone poorly. The military looks extremely weak full of poorly trained troops and equipment that are largely relics of the past.

They have lost their world standing. They have lost their economy. They are a world pariah. I hope it was worth it.

Brad right now the first priority for everyone should be to stop the bombings,

And for that reason I believe that continuing with the diplomatic talks is the best way to go at this time.

Everything else has to be dealt with after there is a permanent ceasefire,

I mean that is stating the obvious. Russia has gone all in here. They have basically lost everything with nothing to gain.

If you think they are just going to leave voluntarily that is not reality.

They are in a no-win situation at this point, that is why they are ramping up terror attacks on civilians.

It is pretty hard to take any negotiations seriously when they continue to attack civilian targets.

Russia might see it in its strategic interest to expand the War by getting NATO involved in a direct confrontation.

But we owe it to the Humanity to exhaust all diplomatic channels and try to calm things down before everyone starts shooting one another.

No one is rooting for that, but if Russia can't even take over Ukraine, good luck against the far better manned and equipped NATO alliance.

They have 4x the combat forces and by far the finest military equipment on Earth, especially in the air and sea, which matters far more than ground troops as Russia is finding out in Ukraine. They still don't even have air supremacy against a force 1/10th their size.

It is hard to believe that is in their strategic interest to get NATO involved.

I am all for diplomacy, but it doesn't work at the end of a gun with a tyrant who doesn't even respect the right of another country to exist.

A Russia with nothing to lose is an issue because of nukes. I hope they are maintained as poorly as the rest of their equipment.

Well the Nukes are what the real issue is here,

As I had mentioned before Russia might do a few limited strikes on some unpopulated but strategic targets (with advance notice) just to test NATO's resolve.

The problem that we have here is the fact that Russia has already proven its willingness to go to the extremes, while NATO as powerful as it is, but it pretty much has been playing defensive thus far.

And by NATO I mean the European Countries that want to sit on the sidelines while expecting US to defend them.

Ukraine is a sovereign country whether he likes it or not. They can make their own decisions.

During the Cuban Missile Crisis, leaders of the U.S. and the Soviet Union engaged in a tense, 13-day political and military standoff in October 1962 over the installation of nuclear-armed Soviet missiles on Cuba, just 90 miles from U.S. shores. In a TV address on October 22, 1962, President John F. Kennedy (1917-63) notified Americans about the presence of the missiles, explained his decision to enact a naval blockade around Cuba and made it clear the U.S. was prepared to use military force if necessary to neutralize this perceived threat to national security.

- What you means now.. we should accept Cuba have his own nuclear weapons.?

War sucks, it is... but Putin, like it or not, did what he had to do to protect his country. The same if it happens with this country, we would all support an invasion to any country.

But as I told you before, this has been a manipulation by Biden administration. He knew the consequences of all this, however he gave hope.

Biden assures Zelenskiy that NATO membership in Ukraine's hands, Kyiv says.

I agree , Nukes are the only issue really , if there were no Nukes , NATO would have already squashed the war … I think Putin has tunnel vision right because there is no exit for him IMO
