I believe that President Biden was right when he said that Russia is going to Invade Ukraine.

Any intelligent person is going to come to the same conclusion knowing that Russia has already decided to pay any price imposed on it by the West through sanctions.

Short of full military confrontation by the West there is nothing that can make Russia to change its mind as they see this as a golden opportunity to resurrect the once powerful superpower that was equal to the USA.

But Russia’s ambitions are not going to stop with taking over Ukraine since it already has made plans to increase its sphere of influence to Asia, Middle East, and South America and perhaps the whole World knowing that the West is most likely not going to do anything beyond just imposing sanctions which ultimately will hurt the West itself by effecting the Global economy in an adverse way the longer that they go on.

I personally don’t like any of the old ideologies, philosophies, and doctrines of Capitalism, Communism, Socialism, Religious Fundamentalism and all the other “ism” that are derived from the bad human characteristics of Greed, Lust, Hate, Cruelty, Jealousy, Prejudice, and lack of Empathy and that have been infringing on our rights in one way or another throughout the history because they can only exist through supporting inequality, oppression, suppression, torture, killing, and War.

When it comes to saving the World the last thing that I want to see is the further expansion of these old systems that have all already proven to be a failure in dealing with the existential problems that are currently facing Humanity and the Environment.

We don’t want all these political, Religious, and Racial parties and groups to resurrect their past, we want something new that can propel the World into the next Era that is based on the Universal Principles and Values that have been derived through Logic and Compassion and not through Force and Violence.

By “We” I mean all the Intelligent, Righteous, and Peace loving people of the World.

That is not necessarily true. Many dictators remain in power for decades while being highly unpopular with the people.

It can be extremely hard to replace authoritarian leaders surrounded by a very loyal elite class.

I do agree that there is a percentage of people (mostly the younger generation) that are going to turn against the ruling elites over this War, but the question is whether they can exert enough pressure to change the course of events that are taking place both inside and outside of Russia.

A country (Putin's dictator country) is INVADING AND MASS KILLING civilians day and night. Not only the rest of the countries see the need for sanctions, but many private companies also understand they must do something to stop the dictator FOR ETHICAL REASONS.

Anyone with an inch of heart see the need to support Ukraine and punish Putin's regime, yes, by sanctions, because the dictator is playing the nukes card to commit a GENOCIDE with impunity, so the only card for the rest of the world to punish him is with SANCTIONS against the INVADING COUNTRY.

So, take the "high failure rate" and the "50% success rate" and go tell that to the Ukrainians, women and children included, being killed everyday by the russian dictator.

As food and medicine runs out for those who are trapped in the cities this is beginning to become a huge humanitarian catastrophe. IMO

“I feel inhuman anger from the fact that Alevtina began her life in Leningrad under the siege as a girl who was starving, who lived in cold and hunger, and she’s ending her life [in similar circumstances],” Natalia said.

She spoke bitterly of the Russian forces and compared them with the “fascists” who besieged Leningrad, now St Petersburg, for nearly 900 days so long ago.

In more from Kharkiv, the mayor of the eastern city has said that so far 48 of its schools have been destroyed as the city comes under relentless bombardment.

Civilians are dying because of 2 reasons:
1. UKRs nazis are using them as a shield

Why not a diplomatic solution through negotiations? Why should they surrender & give the other side everything?
How about some compromise from both?

No NATO membership, may be check what the people want in those two "republics", if they want to be independent, then maybe they should be. Russia's demand for Ukraine to be demilitarized is ridiculous, if it means it should be a country without any weapons, so Russia can drop that.
