I believe that President Biden was right when he said that Russia is going to Invade Ukraine.

Any intelligent person is going to come to the same conclusion knowing that Russia has already decided to pay any price imposed on it by the West through sanctions.

Short of full military confrontation by the West there is nothing that can make Russia to change its mind as they see this as a golden opportunity to resurrect the once powerful superpower that was equal to the USA.

But Russia’s ambitions are not going to stop with taking over Ukraine since it already has made plans to increase its sphere of influence to Asia, Middle East, and South America and perhaps the whole World knowing that the West is most likely not going to do anything beyond just imposing sanctions which ultimately will hurt the West itself by effecting the Global economy in an adverse way the longer that they go on.

I personally don’t like any of the old ideologies, philosophies, and doctrines of Capitalism, Communism, Socialism, Religious Fundamentalism and all the other “ism” that are derived from the bad human characteristics of Greed, Lust, Hate, Cruelty, Jealousy, Prejudice, and lack of Empathy and that have been infringing on our rights in one way or another throughout the history because they can only exist through supporting inequality, oppression, suppression, torture, killing, and War.

When it comes to saving the World the last thing that I want to see is the further expansion of these old systems that have all already proven to be a failure in dealing with the existential problems that are currently facing Humanity and the Environment.

We don’t want all these political, Religious, and Racial parties and groups to resurrect their past, we want something new that can propel the World into the next Era that is based on the Universal Principles and Values that have been derived through Logic and Compassion and not through Force and Violence.

By “We” I mean all the Intelligent, Righteous, and Peace loving people of the World.

Civilians are dying because of 2 reasons:
1. UKRs nazis are using them as a shield
2. UKR nazis are trying to attack Russians but due to poor training are mainly targeting civilian objects.

Why not a diplomatic solution through negotiations? Why should they surrender & give the other side everything?
How about some compromise from both?

No NATO membership, may be check what the people want in those two "republics", if they want to be independent, then maybe they should be. Russia's demand for Ukraine to be demilitarized is ridiculous, if it means it should be a country without any weapons, so Russia can drop that.

Russia uses USA's approach. U should follow the rules of the strongest party. If you do not obey - you will be devastated. UKRs cannot defend vs. Russia or USA, therefore they have to surrender or die as heroes.

My prognose for 2025:
- NATO exclude Eastern European countries (or USA stops finance this project and Alliance dissapear);
- EU broken, several brexits, EURO currency rate in low;
- next US President - woman, will try to save the Country;
- in Russia, Belarus, Ukrain, China and together with other our friends, we will have good living level, highly educated top-level specialists will come here for perfect working-conditions from Europe and, maybe, US.

Well thought. Although I still agree with Mitt Romney. If ukrainian fighters get the aircraft to Ukraine, I don't see that like anything wrong. Of course in Putin's eyes would be wrong, but that's not a direct clash in Ukraine airspace, so he can complain what he wants. The coward Hiter wants to exterminate ukrainians by air without any resistance, he wanna do a massacre (he is actually doing it). And the russian dictator is not gonna enter ww3 for those jets, because he prefers to bomb and shell unarmed and innocent civilians than having to deal with equal (let alone way superior) army.

As we type, there are some VERY advanced surface to air weapons headed to and being distributed in Ukraine. With very little training, anyone fighting for his/her country will be able to bring down virtually anything that flies overhead or nearby.

I'm not sure of the total number of jets that might be available, but thousands of the surface to air weapons will make quite a difference...if they get distributed quickly.

In the meantime, perhaps Poland would park a few of those jets near the border...just in case a farmer or two should happen to come along with a tractor.

First of all, China has not sided with Russia. They are trying to play the middle ground.

Do you really want to side with Russia and their 1.5T GDP vs NATO and their 45T collective GDP. You think that is in their best interest economically? Hell no.

China's growth has already slowed. They need the western consumerism economies to maintain their superpower status. They likely have no interest in messing with that.

China has as much to lose (or more) as anybody if order falls apart.

China have not sided with Russia, unofficially I think they are sided more by the west (Chinese businesses are) but they are trying to stay neutral.

The biggest disappointments in this have been India, I always viewed India a country who always tried to do the right thing but their government have refused to criticize and have put trade first over genocide.

Without the backing from a large base of supporters amongst the general population no leader can remain in power ( whether dictator or not).

Their idea of freedom might be completely different than what you consider to be freedom in the West specially when it comes to the older generations.

The problem is that you and a lot of other people here only see this situation from the angle of a Westerner that has grown up with Western Principles and Values,

It's hard for people such as yourself to believe that other Countries around the World might have their own version of Principles and Values that are as important to them which in some cases might be totally different than what you have been brought up to believe in.

For the past several years I have been trying to encourage everyone to try to find common grounds over the Universal Principles and Values that are based on Logic and Compassion and that we all can believe in as the human race.

But unfortunately the World has chosen the path of War over that which was based on Logic and Compassion.

And yes I know that Russia is the aggressor here, but NATO has had a big hand in bringing us to where we are too by not choosing the path of Logic and Compassion to defuse this situation when it had the opportunity to do so.

I lived in Russia for 2 years, spent a couple of years in the baltics. Basically have spent time in almost every country in eastern Europe so I have a pretty good understanding of how the common people think/act.

You continue to shift the blame to the west. I can think of at least one certain person who is using exactly that narrative to justify what he's doing.

We in the west ain't saints, but Russia brought this upon themselves and Putin himself decided to set back the country for a decade, pre 1917.

There's no logic in that. There's no compassion for the common people in that. He's disregarding any universal principle shared by the world.

It's not just this war, he's been building towards this for decades. He has been losing support in the country for decades. Oppression and bringing terror to his own is what has been his MO for far to long.

He has a track record of using biological weapons, lying, burning cities to the ground, not having and regard for human life.

If you're against NATO, cool. Free to have your opinions and live in your own reality but stop the blame shifting as that narrative is exactly what has been fuelling Russia's aggression for decades.
