Is there such a thing?

Hi i am a struggling webdesigner.
I use a wisiwig editor for HTML liek Frontpage and such, but i am building a *Hides* PhpNuke *Unhides* website and need to alter the appearance of a part of the site.

Now i cant make heads nor tales of the code and was woundeirng if there was a wisiwig type editor for PHP out there that will allow me to display the chnage si tyr and make.

Sorry if this doesnt make sense, i know what i want the alteration to look like and it involves deleting a few bits of imagery and text and moving some images.

I can easily do it in a wisiwig but i have yet to find one for PHP.

Any help would be very helpfull.

Thank You
Gary

as php is server side, you can't get (to my knowledge) a program that will display the php code working. Even dreamweaver displays it as a little crest with "php" written in it.

It is because php is a SSSL (server side scripting language) so you need:
1. a server
2. php running, configured correctly

WYSIWYG editors would be too much (space, time to load, hassle) to incorporate all that stuff in it. It would also require a connection to the internet, and you would [probably] have to contact your ISP over it.

I am not 100% sure about this... for all I know there probably is a WYSIWYG php editor out there, but don't bank on it mate! :)
