Wii Launches Peacefully

The Wii apparently has launched with the same long lines and crowds but PEACEFULLY.. plenty of Wii's are available for purchase AND, unlike the PS3, no major compatability or other problems have been reported so far. Nintendo should have no problem staying in the black with this launch and really only has to compete against the Xbox 360 in sales.

lol, I agree. Still, is the wii the best choice? It doesn't look much different to the N64 really....apart from the new controller.

The N64?! Honestly, even the Gamecube is much better than the N64... I suspect we'll find much the same with the Wii.. the gameplay, at any rate, should be considerably different and we can already see the graphics are better.

When I drove by my local super walmart there was a line of a bunch of young kids. The wii is geared toward family fun so I didn't expect any violence, but I did expect a quick sell out.
