I just read this on a members blog, does anyone know if this is true? Any comments are appreciated. I always arbitrage to standard parked pages and was going to test this out even though I'm leery of Google and worried they won't pay.
Ever since Whypark got Google punched (not just slapped) most domainers have totally discounted whypark.
First, whatever happened to Whypark (you really should know)?
Whypark used article directories to fill your website with automatic text content based on your chosen keyword. Therin lies the problem. If 1000 other people had choosen your keyword (”payday loans” for example) then you and the other 1000 people would have had the exact same content.
Google hates duplicate content with a passion and rightly so…who doesn’t. Once google started encountering hundreds of thousands of whypark sites they began to de-index them on a massive scale, but Google went further, they also started banning adsense accounts that had been associated with duplicate Whypark content. That’s what happened with Whypark.
