Hi @Bravo Mod Team ,

Could you please explain why my post of earlier today was deleted? Don't "thank you for understanding" me, because, honestly, I don't.

"Cleaning up the thread"?! It was a polite, friendly reply to another post. As always, respectful to absolutely everyone. Apparently, you also deleted the post I was responding to, for which I don't understand the reason, either.

Meanwhile, provocateurs enjoy total freedom to keep posting in a showcase thread of an extension they clearly neither like nor believe in, with the sole purpose of triggering the very insults @forge and I were respectfully pointing out as offensive.

I try to abide by the forum rules, and also, on principle, try to be kind to everyone. Here and everywhere. Yet, this is not the first time a post of mine is deleted for unclear (to me, at least) reasons.

This is the first time, though, that I speak up. Please excuse my mistakes, English is NOT my first language.

The offensive post (that you and forge were discussing) was deleted, so your replies and discussion about that post lack public context and purpose after the offensive post is deleted. "Cleaning up" the thread removes posts that would cause confusion since part of the conversation has been removed.

Still, I would appreciate your light on whether it's fair to tolerate constant provocation that tends to hijack the showcase object of a thread. I strongly adhere to freedom of expression, and, personally, provocation doesn't bother me much. But, again, is it fair?

One thing I am sure of: it's not professional.

Tangentially, also keep in mind that calling out AI slop is considered off-topic and will be deleted as such.

Excuse me? Please explain, because I think I am a bit lost. What AI slop?

Why did NamePros remove the "sold" reply by an ICA member, which acts as definite proof that they committed to buying the domain LondonHotel.com for GBP 10,000 at wholesale pricing?

Are you referring that my post was offensive? Apologies to all...it certainly wasn't meant to be, I was thrilled to bits to get such a high valuation..even if it was over optimistic.

Your post was on-topic, because it was about the certificate provided by OP (thread starter) for your domain with their appraisal service. As a reply, the owner of appraise.net replied to you with "sold" and committed himself to buying the domain at your wholesale price of GBP 10,000. The OP replied in their own thread.

Well I am a little baffled.

Their appraisal on the Appraise.net certificate was $2,500,000, and the appraise.net owner bought the domain from you at GBP 10,000 wholesale.

Well now his "sold" post has also been removed so I guess its like it never happened. I'm still puzzled though...if I erred perhaps a mod could explain.

Yes, and considering the circumstances surrounding the domain sale for you, this is particularly poignant.

Sorry. I don't know what post you're referring to.

I originally posted my question on the .si showcase thread, but the mods moved it here.

Why are you all replying to a thread initiated by mods from a post of mine that was originally located on another thread, unrelated to what you are posting here?

And now I can't tag the mods?

Well..

Your case is about a different thread indeed. This is where all this comes together.
