Express written objection to the transfer from the Transfer Contact. (e.g. - email, fax, paper document or other processes by which the Transfer Contact has expressly and voluntarily objected through opt-in means).

The express written objection may be the result of a pending or recently completed Change of Registered Name Holder. This is an opt-in process during which the new Registered Name Holder agrees not to transfer for 60-days. This domain will be transferrable on 4/15/2007.

I received the above email from godaddy when trying to transfer away a domain name. Not really understand, can anyone explain to me? Thank you.

I think it's saying that because you have just recieved the domain, it cannot be transferred for 60 days.
If you haven't just recieved the domain, I have no idea.

You can't transfer the domain because you recently changed the registrant or other whois details and in the process agreed to not transfer the domain for 60 days. I think you can push it to another user at godaddy though so selling it is an option.

Ok, I think I know what happen now. Thanks for the replied. So, the conclusion is not only new domain name have 60 days limit, but change ownership also need to wait for 60 days before can transfer away. Thanks for the 2 cents. I am learning something today. rep added.

Welcome to godaddy. It's one of their tricks. I believe the critical element is the admin E-mail contact, the rest can be changed without locking the domain for another 60 days.

.org?

Was it a .org by any chance? I think that 60-day thing applies accross all registrars for .orgs.

Yeah. I don't think any other registrar does this.
