Google is not allowing transfer out - Please advise

I am trying to transfer out one of my domains from Google, I registered this through them a year back, now I wanted to transfer it to godaddy and initiated the process and already paid for the transfer.
After putting in the security code and authorization code I got this email from google apps:

Dear Registration Private,

The transfer of XXXXXX.COM from Google Apps to another registrar could not be completed for the following reason(s):

Express written objection to the transfer from the Transfer Contact. (e.g. - email, fax, paper document or other processes by which the Transfer Contact has expressly and voluntarily objected through opt-in means).

If you believe that this domain name does not fit the situation described above, go to Google Apps Welcome to the Support Forum for assistance.

Someone please advise how to proceed now as I am totally clueless.

Sounds like you need to cancel the private registration at Domainsbyproxy first before you can continue. I had the same problem with a Godaddy account where free private registration was offered for the first year then I subsequently wanted to cancel it.
As I had forgotton my login details for DbyP I had to fax photographic evidence with the request to cancel. I hope you do not need to go to this extent.

I have my login details, but there is no option to cancel Private Proxy
and option to chage contact is also dimmed

Is it the domainsbyproxy login you have? This is different to the registrar login.

Once on the domains by proxy site you can delete the privacy altogether.

AndyR Thanks for showing the right direction, I have retrieved my domainsbyproxy login details and have cancelled the private registraion, now I will proceed and reinitiate the transfer, lets see what happens
