At first i thought i should keep a balance to my positive opinions among Domain Name Forums
However as i participated to some of them the difference of Namepros.com became crystal clear and it was hard to keep quiet

Here the people are open minded and happy to assist, they chat and discuss your threads with logical replies and funny attitude
The forum is well designed, easy to find your subscriptions, with additional features like selling, revenue share, auctions and others

In other forums you get the feeling that you compete your portfolio with theirs
Some members are hostile and rude, if a moderator says his opinion everybody rephrase his opinion over and over, they appraise with $0 all your domains if they don't like you, if you question their forum image you become the black ship of the forum and the list continues...

My vote goes to Namepros.com and his members
Grow and Prosper

Happy Domaining for everyone

You are 100% right. I have tried other forums, but Namepros is the only one I need. The rudest response you will get here is "no responses" at all to your request for appraisals, or a question.

While sometimes you think "nobody ever responds to my appraisal requests", this is much better that ".in's suck", or "your domain is worthless, stinks".

I could'nt agree more - That's why NamePros is a community and not just a great forum - Much more valuable IMO

Other forums (no names) mods act more like prison guards - don't do that OR D-: To many stupid rules that desensitize the whole afair and make the whole experience cold harsh and uninspiring JMO (it may be business but business does'nt have to be boring !!)

NamePros is Number 1 :)

I agree with the above comments 100%. I have been 'playing' domains for a good few months now, and the quality of the info on NamePros is excellent. It has and is helping me to learn the industry and the members have been so helpful.
Another plus is the look and feel of the site. Not too bright, and only a few colours - just right!

With the exception of a handful of people, the overall community is wonderful and eager to share knowledge.

Probably one of the best things about this place is that its clear the creators priority is to help the community, not to squeeze money from them... none of this "tiered membership" crap...

Sure, buying NP$ costs money, but its a lot better value than most others, and its not forced down your throat - nor are you completely stiffled if you choose not to buy NP$, like other forums where you can't have a signature or avatar unless you're a paying member.

And of course I agree with other comments about how friendly, helpful and co-operative 99% of the community are, and the fact the mods and admins don't abuse their positions or run on some sort of ego trip.

Namepros FTW :D

I agree - NamePros has a wonderful community and the staff is second-to-none when it comes to knowledge of the subject, skill in their position, and friendliness.

I've been a part of several communities in the past, but none were as welcoming as NamePros.

Long live NamePros! :)

How is NP different:

1) BIG . Very Big. I love big forums, the bigger, the better. Big forums = lots of information

2) A very very well established forum currency system. This is probably the only forum i know which pays you 2 cents per post! WOW!

3) More newbie oriented. Which means there is more information exchange. Lets face it, smart experts keep their lips locked (heck i do that a lot).

4) The Chat room

Thanks for the well-wishes, all.
Closing thread and moving to break room, in part because even though this thread is in good spirits to date, we have a strict "no bashing" rule in regards to any other forum B-)

To ensure we all follow this rule, :closed:
