Why do you like .TV that much?

Well, as a fan of .tv, I would also like to ask for the reasons why you like this extension that much. Please detail in your reply if you can. Thanks. :bingo:

.TV is highly intuitive, as TV is known around the world as a visual medium. I also think .TV names can be very brandable.

E.g., I recently registered FOMC.tv--FOMC=Federal Open Market Committee--which is a great name to link to a site for folks who "watch" the Fed.

Another recent purchase for me: DJIA.tv (Dow Jones Industrial Average.)

Of all the emerging TLD's, I like .TV the best, with .US and .CC running a very close second.

I like TV because
-it's naturally easy to remember and international...(imagine with the news tld..."where i play??? ..poker.ws..no,poker.de..no...,poker.es..no,poker.it...no.....") i think it's a little .com ....
-Cool,funny,and prestigious, it's a curiosity for the "classic" websurfer...(.tv =???=click..)
(hum click it's theorical..lol )
-ideal for a video content...(and a video content it's the future/more interactive...)

Plus: The dottv domain extension is under the mighty US corporation Verisigns control just like dot com and despite what people might think about Verisign they are the only company I would want in control over this rapidly growing extension.

As a big fan of dot tv myself, I agree with all of the opinions above! I think the websites with this extension are really cool. Most of them have video streaming, and are very informative, entertaining, on-demand (that's the best part unlike traditional tv's). Today I came across GolfBug.TV. I think this golf website is the first golf channel online. It seems really good. Sometimes I watch High.TV and Sail.TV, not very often though, but I think the number of visitors of these websites are increasing rapidly - the best part is that you can watch from anywhere in the world. You don't need a cable, satellite, etc. It's freedom! As long as you have the internet connection, you are free! Here some other sports sites, of course with dot tv extension: WorldHockey.TV, FieldHockey.TV, Cycling.TV. Can you imagine these web sites with other extensions? That would be nonsense. Dot TV will be the best extension in the near and far future! Even better than .com when it comes to video streaming. Many companies will broadcast infomercials of their products and/or services on their own websites. And most probably these companies will start using dot tv besides having dot com websites. I believe sport events online will attract many visitors to these dot tv websites. Here is another sport channel online: GlobalSport.TV. It looks like a good one too. To make it short, I love dot tv and I will try to keep the ones I have as long as I can because I believe each dot tv name will be very valuable in the future - even the long ones!

P.S. I haven't read many of the threads about dot tv. If there is any post or thread giving the same websites as an example, sorry about that. They all are new to me (except sail.tv and high.tv - I just wanted to share them with you to show how suitable dot tv is for this kind of websites.......)
