Why do I have to contact domain name brokers?

When is it, that I must contact domain name brokers like Sedo and Afternic about domain names I own, which are listed on marketplace from a previous owner. It must somehow be a way around this mess and so that they can de-list a domain name after getting new ownership.

Any tips?

Some are good, many . Prefer deal owners.

It's domain names marketplaces, not domain names brokerages.

aww screw it never mind. There's no point they never learn. @maxjohan just get used to carrying a broom around with you at the marketplaces. There's always someone else's mess to clean up.

Sedo is pretty good about deleting names that have hit pending delete, but they still miss domains that sell at expired auction by its registrar.

I usually will just wait and keep a list of Afternic domains already listed and send the email once a month or so.

Never but it is back to you if they ignore you if they find it isn't worth their efforts to pursue with your inventory. Unless you have something premium and want to get dollars today. Sedo clean out their list regularly i got an email this week to let me know they removed a domain out of my account,

I usually try to ask sellers to remove the domain from all marketplaces when I make payment. Although it's a hassle, Sedo and Afternic are usually pretty fast about removing names when you request it.
