Seriously, have you lived on another planet for the last couple of years? Crypto currencies are everywhere in the news and the most hyped topic for a long time and fortunes are created and sometimes lost.

Because they're a huge 'trend' at the moment, and people pay for that.

It's also starting to happen with AI as well.. It'll always happen with new 'trends' and inventions. The key is figuring out when to cash in on them
