To minimize the color lameness in Firefox, go to "Tools"-->"Options"-->"Content"-->"Colors..." and uncheck the clickbox that states "Allow pages to choose their own colors, instead of my selections above".

Thanks for the tip.... I dont use FF to much but I'll try it anyway.

Interesting how Rick chose Red, a color that draws attention, stimulates energy and encourages action..... Blue on the other hand is most everyone's favorite color, It has a calming, cooling and trust worthiness effect.

I know of Rick Latona, and I know he does buy and sell some of the biggest names in the industry....That is fine.

This scheme is ridiculous and stupid. Us "less significant" domainers shouldn't have to stare at this ugly orange MONSTER ADVERTISEMENT while discussing and trading our names...

I know of another DOMAIN NAME FORUM that still looks normal, and I guess that is where I will be for a while. :|

Waaah waaah waaaah. Namepros is a fantastic free service for the domain community. So the site is a little glaring for a few days, big deal. Are you here for the pretty blue or for the content?

The content hasn't changed, the posters haven't changed, the service hasn't changed. If you're going to walk away from all Namepros has to offer because you don't like the colors then you're probably so high maintenance the site is better off without you.

my User CP it's still showing all the threads since 12:29am
(almost 24 hours worth) and I've been on most of the day
and the "You last visited" is showing Today at 12:13 AM ???
it's 10:01 pm here now.

or is it just on my computer

It won't affect my usage of NamePros one bit. Every one of the sites I develop is a for profit venture, to expect NamePros to not be is a bit ridiculous. I think it is a creative and noteworthy way to advertise, not sure if I would advertise this way or allow this type of advertising on my site if given the opportunity... but I don't see anything wrong with it.

It is fun to make fun of though. :D

Whoa! Thanks for that, I was beginning to feel sea-sick looking at that RED and jangled background. It's late evening here and I had just logged on for a quiet, gentle surf through NP. What an unpleasant shock. This on top of Trafficz changing their elegant, quiet interface to a grim, unattractive and dark background with light type. My evening surfing and domain management no longer holds the same appeal for me now...

OMG!!! Having changed the Firefox settings as above to read NP without sunglasses, I just logged on to Trafficz and all their dreadful backgrounds and dark colours have gone too using this setting! Serene white space rules again..
