I stopped with GD after they billed my bank instead of taking from my PayPal. I switched to NameCheap and they are amazing. Nameserver change takes seconds and I've never really had to use there customer service.

Namecheap price is too high? Are you one of those loophole people? If so, then namecheap isn't the reg for you. Stay with Godaddy. Namecheap have a no loopholes that I am aware of. I would never bother using them anyway. IMO, it is dishonest to the reg to do this.

They do, however, have a coupon code which will get you domains for $7.99. Do a quick browse on the first 2 pages of this section of the forum. It has been mentioned about a bajillion times. One thread was started jsut days ago about it.

BTW, if price is your concern, then why are you looking into Moniker.com? They sell .COM for $18.99 or some ridiculous price like that. And you can be damn-skippy sure that they don't have any loopholes.

Your first post and you are tying to sell enom reseller accounts?

Use the advertising forum for advertisments.

Info please

Just read other DN forums - perhaps you'll get what you want. Sorry, I can't put more info here at NamePros...

BTW - ever tried to read my blog? URL in the sig. *Perhaps* there you'll find something of interest to you?

I once loved NameCheap but fell in love with RegisterFly because of the WHOIS Guard service they run and had a special on. I started moving all my domaisn over to them but now I am not so sure. I have noticed that they dont enforce the ICANN rules regarding valid whois info.

Also someone just posted to usenet that he called RegisterFly about a domain with invalid WHOIS info and was hung up on then called back and got a really weird response.

Enom is a no-no for me now because of the reply I got when I tried to report a domain with invalid WHOIS info.

I love GoDaddy's rules on spam and locking domains that are proven to be owned by a spammer and/or used in a spam run. I have never used GoDaddy and I dont know why, just something about their site I dont like. :(

If I keep hearing more bad stuff about RegisterFly I will be looking to move my domains away from them. I just need to find one that will lock domaisn with invalid WHOIS info, and even better lock domains used in a spam run or owned by a spammer.

BTW Moniker and Yahoo also dont care about invalid WHOIS and they also dont give a care about what the domain is used for. I have seen reports of Yahoo hosting and being the register of domains/sites hosting child porn! Abuse reports get ignored it seems.

Nice... How very cloak and dagger... :)

Quickly reading your blog, would this reduction simply by as a result of you mailing moniker and ask them for cheaper prices..? Or cant you say? :red:

But 'whatevertheweather', i dont really understand the broken link between "information available at other forums" and "not being able to place it here at NP's"..?? :-/

Im not really that fussed in any respect, I have a $6.95 reseller at enom and (imho) when i obtain names in the secondary market place, the 60 days cant come fast enough for me to get them there, tuck them up in bed, safe in the knowledge that they are happy domains, cosy and dreaming happy traffic dreams...

Sarcasm aside, the link between these two is that 6.95 pricing scheme is available for members of that other forum only. You need to write to specific address with specific word in the subject and you'll get that price. Sure enough, I can't name even the name of the forum here (although for most of seasoned domainers should be clear already what I'm speaking about).

I no, I NEVER asked Moniker for this low pricing. Heck, at the end of my saga I was ready even to pay their premium 18.99 rate, just to keep my domains in absolute safety.

If your #1 concern is price, you really should stick with GoMommy with their loopholes and redneck CEO. :)

Good luck.

What happened to the .info names at Godaddy? I can't find them in the dropdown list and the list under the domain search box..And when I search for a domain like randomword34913.info which I know is available I get an error...Anyone else having this problem?

Anyway, I guess I'll go to Namecheap.

Well it seems like the topic just heated up by two patriotic followers from rival companies.

Let me be honest, I am Godaddy flag bearer beacause they're cheap. Price is my first concern. Other than that Godaddy not new kid on the block. The are manager for world largest domain portfolio.

When comes to moniker.com, i would say they're there with strong cables. Monte Cahn could sell your names with his contacts and he can arrange for fianance and loans. Security wise they're good, probably a step ahead of godaddy. They have this verbal domain transfer verification. The string with this is PRICE.

But if it is true moniker.com can offer $6.95, then its well worth to be with them.

I just sent an email to Monte Cahn about this. Still waiting for his reply.

I'll let you guys know when i got a reply from him.

Cheers!

Interesting comments, im not sure if they represent an oxymoronic statement or plain hypercritical.. ;)

And im still confused as to why you cant tell the members here the means by which they can get the reduced moniker prices or in fact the forum on which this "golden egg" becomes available.. :-/

And I find it a little condescending that you mention that seasoned domainers will know which forum you are intimating about - which means what - you dont want newbies getting hold of bottom dollar domains.. Did Monte ask you to keep it a secret..? :)

Hello All,

Moniker is an excellent domain registar and I can highly recommend them. Give them a call (toll free) if you have issues with pricing...that's what I did some years ago. Typically they will significantly reduce rates for domainers with good size portfolios (50-100 domains +).

Their support is the best, their interface is excellent, their security is unparalled. Getting all this for the same prices (or less) than Godaddy makes Moniker a no-brainer for me!

I'm happy to give them my recommendation!

:) zesty
