.US domains.US domains
Namecheap.com. Hands down, for me.

Just curious. Since you can get very good service form cheaper regs, why would you even consider paying Moniker's high prices.

Also curious, what is personally making you leave GD?

BTW, I just noticed that monikers .INFO are actually low, though. I might use them for some .INFOs. But why pay $18.99 for .COMs and other TLDs?

VERY wise choices (leaving GD and considering Moniker).

Either Moniker or NameCheap.

Good luck!!!

NameCheap, without a doubt.

Great customer support (only ever needed it once in 2 years). ALL the features you could ever need, great pricing and of course free whois guard.

Fair enough you're leaving GD, but why moniker?? From frying pan to hot plate..

GD does the best for me but i'm going to try namecheap.com soon. Pricing wise GD is unbeatable...

Netsol & Moniker... Strictly NO-NO

It would be very nice if you'll be able to backup both your statements by answering WHY.

Thank you.

Dyandot, good pricing, easy and fast transfer with follow up and easy control panel.

Domainsite is good as registrar but a pain with transfers. I did move many info domains from mydomain.com to Dynadot, GoDaddy and Domainsite the same day.

The fastest Dynadot (less than 7 days) Godaddy (7 to 12 days) and finally Domainsite... almost 30 days needing to contact support everytime to ask for the delay.

OK WHY! This might to applicable to everyone but it certainly does to me.

First their pricing. Moniker & Netsol charge x2 than Namecheap & GD

The good thing about Moniker & Netsol is their customer service is unrivalled . I know big companies are keeping their names with them but they are just not very flexible with speculators. they have stringent transfer procedures. Good for quality names like sex.com but not for small players. If you want to grow fast in this ever becoming competitive industry you have to be nifty and slick. Not just sticking yourself with Godzilla of the industry.

I mean no disrespect to anyone holding their names with Netsol & Moniker. If i had sex.com, i definitely will keep them at Moniker. No second thoughts about it.

But there's no more Sex.com or any other names that are equally valuable with sex.com available at this very moment.

Hope i had answered your question.

Thank you

sker >> I think you need to check this thread out: http://www.namepros.com/domain-newbies/171066-27-proven-ways-lose-your-domain.html

Especcially usefull is tip #21:

21. Use registrars that do not have strong security policies. Pretend you have lost your login information and ask for it by E-mail. Customer-focused registrars will readily provide you with the information requested without any cumbersome security checks. Why would someone want to hack into your registrar account ?

I'd rather have my domains secure and sleep tight at night, than use anything like cheapo *FLY*-by-nights and have issues with sleep disorder... :)

BTW, I have USD6.95 pricing at Moniker. Anyone can get one...

Thank you.

Thx Localpub.

As said, Moniker & Netsol are the best in the industry but its just not worth the price for the name i'm having. I could say that Godaddy is not a lousy registrar. They don't giveaway your password like they're giving those discount coupons.

.... if i could get $6.95 with moniker... then you'll see all my 200+ names will book their tickets to moniker.com this summer.

I freely admit to two-timing between mistresses godaddy and namecheap. I use NC for adult names as they have a free/cheap/flexible guard service. For general names I will use NC unless GD have an offer on, when I will also shamelessly transfer any general names to GD from NC for renewal top-up. NC have a very good customer service response time and their prices with coupon are OK.

Another vote for Namecheap. They're f**king awesome.

moniker is the ultimate registrar. If you have enough domains, you can get discounted prices that are VERY competetive, and it is THE most secure registrar.
Thats the place to keep your great domains and more.
Enom is awesome as well, and namecheap.
