Where I get information to check name trademark

Hi

in India weekly newspaper published by ( ******* group ) every Friday. It has features on news, leisure, events, cuisine, Travel etc. copy every Friday. One thing, it is absolutely free, second thing, it is delivered door step, it feature happening things in city its very low subscription

Recently the paper completed two years.
when i saw the paper there is no trade marks or registered mark

the paper name with the ( city***** ) and some extension name they publish this kind of paper almost on major cities . now i prepared a web site related to my city name . what they are using exact name . are they have any rights to get back my domain. or there is any legal issues

i registered this domain name 18 months back when i don't know there is a paper running in city with the same name
please suggest me.

just suggest me what are the processes i have to fallow

If you use city*****.com as news site which relate to actual newspaper by that name,
you may get UDRP whether they have TM or not.

OP - do you really doubt that the newspaper has a TM that has been around and for sale for 2 years? Wasn't there a *classic* thread about newspapers on here recently and how they do/do not end up on the internet after operating for decades ?

yes

i think they are not yet interested to release any web sites related to these cities . but they are only blocking those domains and just for the sake they just running simple web sites on some of the major cities . because they have their main brand name web sites a lot and they are running it successfully.

and don't forgot its not their main newspaper name its a part of one city related name

for my city they have not more than 10000 per a week
as well as i went through Google search there i didn't get any trademarks on these names

So selling 10,000 per week is not enough to "deserve" a TM in your mind?

You seem to be trying to convince yourself that it is ok, while you may know that it is not. Without knowing the name we are only speculating, of course, but your argument has not been that the name is generic and you will be using it in a non-infringing way, but rather that they aren't very big in your city so it's "ok."
