Do you think mtld will keep their promise this time? Will we see it before the end of May? Was this all a money grab and mtld will never settle the RFP? What do you think?

i've voted before end june.
they have been quite candid & humble about it when i've rung them, however it's unavoidable, it also looks unproffessional imo

No. No. Yes, quite possibly. I, as I've been saying since November '06, personally think we need to hear from mTLD regularly on these matters, a.s.a.p. :imho:
For now, I voted the most likely ... RFP = moneygrab. They'll probably open them up for more bids! :gl:
The major issue maybe is that out of everyone who did apply, maybe there wasn't anybody qualified, or in which they felt comfortable releasing the names to.
If the poll up to now is any indicator, some people are starting to doubt mtld's follow through. I'm as interested in seeing the outcome of the RFP as everyone else, and at a minimum, if my lack of understanding about the way mtld operates is ignorance here, I would like, at a minimum, someone to explain to me why the RFP has been delayed.
This, I've come to expect and I feel we deserve (a reason for why) it for the substantial investments we have all made in the .mobi extension.
Pinky was in a forum on Domainfest and we tried to get some answers from him on this one. He said the process was delayed because several applicants didn't meet the quality levels expected. He wouldn't commit himself to mentioning a timeline.

I'm hopeful - and there are indications from iNod in the "Pinky / May7th" thread for a visitation in June, as well - that we will get some more insight and information here on the RFP's very soon! :gl: :talk:
