I have 5 domains that used to be proxies about a year ago. they are still getting decent amounts of traffic from backlinks. my problem however is that I do not want to start proxies again, because the hosting was costing me more than I was earning. I also do not want to drop the names or sell them at this point in time because they are all 5 letter, pronounceable, bradable.
The question here is what are some good ideas for using proxy traffic to generate income, but NOT turn it into a website running a high-bandwidth proxy script?

some of my ideas:
proxy toplist
proxy,org clone
minisites about proxies?
.. well I thought I had more, guess not. shoot them down or agree, Im looking for some tips on what I can do here. these are still all low revenue, since proxies are such cheap keywords on adsense.
I have them all over at whypark right now and am not happy with the results.

Thanks!

Best solutions would probably be to make mini-proxy sites with proxy lists etc. The amount of content depends on how much time you wanna use. However overall I think keywords related to proxy traffic is rather low. You could link to commercial proxy service, bet some of them have affiliate options.

You could also consider redirecting the traffic to websites containing ads with higher paying keywords. The CTR might decrease but could overall bring in a higher income.

Good luck!

Without knowing the domain names I'd probably go with FanCube's ideas. The mini-proxy sites with some links to proxy sites. As stated you could do affiliate links and probably sell some links to proxy owners.
