Well proxies are a major thing on the internet.
I'm personally just starting out and want to try earn afew bucks per day.
Namepros doesn't really have any threads i've found that help out proxy owners/ newbies.
I myself am a newbie aswell. I'm still learning alot but have picked up afew ideas and such to keep it alive.

#1 Putting your words like Proxy/Bypass/Filter into a image so that it cannot be picked up if any schools have programs that read pages. (my school has this feature)

I haven't got really anymore to add but i hope members can contribute. :)
People who are experienced with proxies or have any tips/tricks please post them here to help out others, I may Sticky this thread and reward NP$ to people who help out :tu:

Anyone used widgetbucks on the proxified pages?

What happens with proxy forums.org ? I tried to learn about proxy. If i only want to develop a single proxy web, does a VPS enough to handle mine?
Does adsense allow ads to be put in a proxified page?

Thank you.

It's advisable not to use the word proxy, prox or similar in the domain name. As far as the HTML of the proxy page you should be creative in your text so that asdense picks up good paying keywords.

A stupid question this may be...
Does this "proxy" word avoidance apply to metatags as well?

Do you have any tips to save my bandwidth?
I tried to block IP from China but i was blocked too so i remove the htaccess code :td:

Note: if anyone want to encrypt some words such as "proxy", you can use my tool here.

Recently i just viewed my Glype log, got several IP, i tried to extract the IP manually.
And i created this script, feel free to use it.
It will extract unique IP from your log, and sort it.
PHP:
<?php
// Paste your log below
$log = '
1.2.1.3,   30/Nov/2008:00:06:07 -0600, http://searchirc.com/
2.3.4.5,   30/Nov/2008:00:07:40 -0600, http://searchirc.com/irc-password-1
1.2.3.4,   30/Nov/2008:00:08:14 -0600, http://searchirc.com/
';

// You should not modify anything below
$log = trim($log);
$log = explode("\n", $log);

$ip = array();
foreach ($log as $l) {
	$l = trim($l);
	if ($l != '') {
		$foo = explode(',', $l);
		$ip_part = trim($foo[0]);
		if (!in_array($ip_part, $ip)) {
			$ip[] = $ip_part;
		}
	}
}
unset($foo, $log);
natcasesort($ip);
echo implode('<br />', $ip);
?>

Make sure your host allows proxies first, you don't wanna buy a $60 hosting plan and then find out they don't allow proxies, it would be funny, but don't do it

Did you mean main index of proxified page or main index of your own proxy? :?

Main index of the proxy is displayed fine but once a url is enterered and you try to browser via the proxy the page showing the proxofied page is blocked, I have tried glype, phproxy and surrogafier all producing the same results

It seems the URL has been blocked by the school administrator. Your friend should find another proxy :)

I'm looking for feedback on this little project I'm working on. It scans proxy list sites to see if you proxy is listed on it. Any thoughts? Useful? Meh?

Glad you like it :) I can never remember where I've submitted my site and it's such a hassle going through every link I have on my proxy sites to figure it out. Plus I hate when I submitting a proxy somewhere and it says 'already submitted', arg! Wasted time!

Any suggestions or proxy lists to add to it?
