Traffic for proxies

To those of you that run free web-based proxies, how do you get most of your traffic? I have submitted to about 50 of the "Proxy Top Lists" websites, but this seems to bring in only about 75+ uniques a day for me. I know that there are a lot of proxies that bring in 1000+ uniques a day.

If you run a proxy, how much traffic do you get, and how do you get it? And if you don't mind sharing, what is your Adsense/YPN revenue?

First thing you need to do is make sure its on Proxy.org. This is what kicked my proxy site into full gear. After it gets on there, it will appear in almost every "250 proxy list for school and work" type thing on the internet.

I got it listed at Proxy.org today, but I guess there's no traffic from there yet since its a weekend, I hope to see a big boost starting Monday.

Is a premium bold listing worth it? I noticed that it went from $10 to $20 a month today.

I never had it and I did fine. Proxy.org brings in some, but the real hits come from the lists people make from the proxys on the Proxy.org list.

How much traffic did you get from those lists?

In its prime it was getting about 700 uniques, then it ended up getting blocked by everyone and it declined.

Advertise to school children, alot of those proxies work getting passed school filters you could get alot of traaffic that way!

Most of my traffic comes from Proxy.org and the lists from proxy.org that people put on their sites.
