NamePros is working on a lot of new and exciting features, and many of them are thanks to member suggestions in our Comments and Feedback section.

I would like to propose to have a "Welcome private message" when someone registers, where you can explain in short what are the different forum sections for, and also to link to the thread with the rules (if there is such). Maybe also add an introduction thread.

This can be done very easy via the admin options of the forum.

I registered a few days ago and never got a welcome message, so I have been actively looking in the forum sections for such threads, but maybe I should have just used the Search function.

I don't see how you can call someone lazy when you don't use at least some punctuation in your posts. Not to mention the capital letters.

My suggestion for the forum admin is still valid, as if he makes it user friendly, he will get less meaningful posts and happier members. This literally will take 10mins to implement and will save days of moderation.

Currently, we use a site-wide notice message to do this, which leads to a help thread on everything you're looking for.

Did you happen to notice that? Pun intended.

You're probably right that it'd be better if we sent this as a DM instead.

I didn't notice that, and even you told me it exists I still am not seeing it.

Probably because on mobile there are banners on top, 5 widgets with poata and pools on the bottom. It is hard to orientate, especially for a newbie like me.

Don't get it personal, it is just a friendly suggestion in attempt to help your forum being better. I may be not right, just giving ideas..
