What should NamePros add?

Good morning!

NamePros is working on a lot of new and exciting features, and many of them are thanks to member suggestions in our Comments and Feedback section.

We'd love to hear even more! What else would you like us to add for you?

The option to edit/delete comment at any time is the core of every social media.

True. We have several places where that is the case:

1. Profile posts and comments
2. Editable Discussions
3. Marketplace
4. Etc.

However, some places have limits on how long they can be edited: Learn why.

We hope this helps.

Provide an option to view direct messages in email format. Instead of just receiving a notification, users could read the full message content directly in their email without needing to log into the forum. Many platforms, such as eBay, use this design, requiring a login only when replying.

If I might express a counter view, I love having the link to open the lander control zone right there at the top. I don't need the private/public help necessarily, but hope we keep the basic link somewhere.

Yes, that crossed my mind as well.

Perhaps it could be moved to a less prominent area, like the sidebar.

But truth be told, NamePros absolutely has the right to place a banner to promote itself.

One thing we can all agree on: NP landers are #1

of course u say nothing if we did not yet pm.

example put like a checkbox next to submit reply button

I'm sure me not alone who sent twice pm on same post.

easy to do and checking box 100s mails for duplicate impossible

If, in addition to your PM, you also reply to the thread with a brief message like “sent,” your avatar will appear on the thread, indicating that you’ve already responded. Don’t skip that step for future reference.

well yes it's true but scanning thru 500 posts on thread to find yours is same as scanning my pm box.

Excellent idea! In the meantime:

Using the upvote feature (the up arrow button) is a great way to keep track of which requests you've already sent a DM about, indicated by a +1 on the 1st post.

also I once clicked something that now stops me from getting emails on new PMS

I have no idea how to get it back
