So far, my hat off to all my fellow Domain Investors here on NamePros.

Here is why....

I joined NamePros yesterday 11/22/2016 and I'm already blown away.

1st => I was researching the validity of an offer for a domain name I received via email. I suspected it to be a scam. My research lead me to a thread on NamePros discussing the exact or similar offers others have received. And yes, it was a scamming offer.

This was awesome - saved me time I could have further wasted or be a scam victim.

2nd => I was impressed by what I saw on this forum. So, I joined in a heartbeat. After looking around at various threads and the forum features, I posted an introduction of myself. The reception has been "fantastically fantastic" - (don't check a dictionary to see if "fantastically fantastic" combination is acceptable. Let's just leave it that way.) :)

Everyone (at least those who replied) are very welcoming. Taking the time to welcome me - even adding some humor (which is part of my daily living) and giving best wishes. Hat off to you all. Boat load of appreciations.

3rd => I made my first purchase of a domain here on NamePros on the very day I joined and the seller @Billy Wagner - Oh my goodness! He was "amazingly amazing" - (again, don't check a dictionary to see if "amazingly amazing" combination is acceptable. Let's just leave it that way.) :) From price negotiation to overall communication and transfer of domain, was like; 1, 2, 3. He was not just selling. He made sure I got the help I needed and that all was taken care of. Thanks Billy!!!

All the members here seems to be very nice and ready to help - wanting you to succeed. No one bashing or bullying another. At least I haven't seen it yet in all the threads I've viewed.

4th => The various sections and features of the forum are fantastic.

These are what blew my mind so far. I have the feeling much more awaits me. First impression has been great! i.e: "greatly great".

So for me, NamePros is Awesome! BTW: I guess I should say "awesomely awesome". (again, don't check a dictionary) :)

I am delighted to be here!!!

WHAT MAKES NamePros AWESOME FOR YOU?

Thanks,
Sam

Well @Samuel McEdwards - I thinks it's marvelously marvelous and superbly superb that you are loving the Namepro's awesomeness. :) It truly is a remarkable community, sure we do have the odd squabble but generally there are no hard feelings.

Congrats on your fist trade on NP as well.

What is your Focus in Domaining ? :xf.smile:
@Michael Ehrhardt Well, I guess right now, getting a profitable ROI from domaining is the focus. But, I'm still defining and refining my core focus.

At first, it was just the "good feeling" or sentimental value of having valued domain names and many of them. So, I'll think of something, make a name out of it, check it's availability and register if its available.

I'm also looking at how my entire domain portfolio / domaining could add substantial value to my main digital marketing & technology business/company/agency.

Also thinking that it could just be an entirely separate venture.

That's why I said I'm still defining and refining my core focus.

Great management, great website interface, trustworthy, friendly, and full of information. Of course the vibrant community is the most valuable asset of NamePros. All of that and more is what I think made NamePros a central meeting hub for all domainers. :)

Welcome aboard one more time Samuel.

Thanks @AndyM I checked it our and downloaded his free eBook on how he made 12,000+ on a domain. Read all 30 page immediately after downloading. Interesting read. I like his reason on the negotiation strategy he used. May be he was just fortunate, but a lot can be learn from the way he approached the sell.

Thanks for pointing me to that source. I'm yet to dive into the website content.

What makes the forum awesome to me.
Is that smount of information thatis freely given! Where else would a gray beard like me learn about the latest niches..drones, augmented reality etc...

Ps..@Samuel McEdwards great thread but may I suggest you learn how to "multiquote"..you can click on the "quote option" on more than one posting and have those quotes all appear in one posting..if you weren't new to the forum, I figure you were trying to build up your post count.

Anyway great question and I am sure enjoy the responses!

What can I say about NP that has not been said by you @Samuel McEdwards and others on this thread.

The first name I bought at godaddy with first time code ($1.17) was sold a little over 2 months after, all from the info gotten from NP.

Yea...the first and best advice I will give to anybody entering domaining is 'Go to namepros and read your eyes out!'
