.tv What is the point of Channelme platform? My site isn't indexed by Google..

Hi folks.

well, is there really any point in using ChannelMe to start developing a site? Been using it for israel.tv and to date nothing really gained from it.

As far as i can see no results on Google for Israel TV or Israel.

I like the ability to be able to have a blog and videos to kick start the development of the site, so has anyone got anything else or is it a case of just using Wordpress with a decent theme?

Google loves Wordpress for some reason. My site Savory tv in my sig has been on the fist page of the google search since the second day I started it (and has had at least 25 visitors per day in the few days that it's been up), and the same with my organically tv which is also wordpress. I had read an article somewhere that said google pr rankings and search results are now favoring blogs (don't have the reference sorry). I believe there are some decent wordpress.org templates that are designed for videos. Mine are just the wordpress.com, but are not very video friendly, I'm going to make the switch to the .org

i dont see Savory.tv on google first page if i type "savory"

only if i type "Savory.tv"

my ukswingers.tv does that,but thats no good!i want it to come up first page with the keyword only!

its the same with your organically.tv...so the punter has to remember to add the tv....nahhh

well, entering israel tv on yahoo comes up well but for some reason google seems not to like .tv for me.

Correct you have to search: "savory tv", (not in quotes though) not necessarily savory.tv. But for his israel, if I search : israel tv, it doesnt come up.

That's pretty damned good for a few days out in the open.

I recently Acquired a .TV that previously had been running the ChannelMe Platform , With little Success.
What they offered didn't really suit the name, NOT every .tv name has to be a TV site. I changed focus of the site to a general BLOG/ Info site. Income in only 2 weeks has been excellent.
