question What is the biggest domain sale you regret missing?

Greetings, Fellow domainers

Every domainer seems to have that one domain they wish they had acquired when they had the chance.

Maybe you saw it available years ago but did not register it.
Maybe you passed on buying it for just a few hundred dollars.
Or perhaps you sold it too early and later saw it sell for much more.

Looking back:

1) What is the biggest domain opportunity you regret missing?

2) Was it a hand registration you did not make ? or a domain you almost bought? or a name you sold too soon?

It would be interesting to hear the stories and lessons behind those missed opportunities.

I got a 10k offer on Neobank / org a few years ago from an Italian bank on Dan - responded with 20k and never heard back from them and no replies....


I try not to regret most things in life, this just mildly annoyed me.....still does

I always counter an opening offer, accepting the first offer projects weakness imo, the potential buyer might think they could of got it cheaper, on the other hand they might just disappear if they think it's out of budget...as was the case here by the looks of it....

I now want 30k + for it....lesson learnt

Interesting Story & Huge offer Dont worry that happens to all of us in domaining as sometimes a counter works & sometimes the buyer disappears.

At least you still have a strong name so another opportunity might come along
