I researched about a platform called Bido.com and it seems quite popular during 2010's and before for domain auciton. However they have since shutdown, reponed and again shutdown multiple times.

what happened to that platform. Why was it shutdown.

Any OG domainers here who knows the store more in detail and could explain why they had to shutdown their business

I remember Bido but don't remember it ever being very busy. My guess would be it just wasn't making enough money but I could be wrong.

Starting a new auction platform can be somewhat difficult in that you need good names to attract buyers but you need buyers to attract good names.

Yeah I saw that many people were frustrated with them allowing low quality domains to be listed for auctions there by discouring both buyers and sellers as the days went by.

What do you think Bido could do if they had to save the platform somehow.

Also they seem to have had a review system where users would choose based on voting system on what kind of domains are allowed to be listed wasn't that successful or was it what caused poor quality domains being listed.
