So today I took a notice of something that is a bit weird .

The *Reported Complete Domain Sales Thread* was born in the year 2005, April 19th

WHEREAS

The *Handregs thread* was born in the year 2008, October 28th

Which means the latter is older than the latty with 3yrs + some months

But

The latter just has 779 pages over 15years now

While the Latty has 1,640 pages and counting over 12years now

Looking at these Analytics what does it signify in the industry?

Hi

doesn't signify anything

everyone doesn't report their sales,
nor does everyone report their hand regs

so, you just look at what is posted, and take from that.... what you can get out of it.

don't ponder on analytics that have too many variables.

imo...

I agree it means nothing other than few people post their hand regs.

Hi

if, you want to know something other than what you get told....
then you can look deeper into the posts and learn something.

for instance:

to see what domains were reported sold and their prices if any, in 2005 and years following.
if only to get an idea of the progressive increase in prices for various categories of domains.

imo...

It just means that it is a lot easier to spend money, than to make it.
There is no way sales could keep up with handregging, especially in bulk mode, ie coupons, promos etc.

I don't think it signifies anything. They are two different self-reported lists, both of which only represent a very tiny fraction of the population in that category.

If the true data of domain sales existed it would change perception of all sorts of values. So many fake deals and the under the table deals which would significantly change lots of values.

You’ve just counted the pages, what if you count on volume that each post including with how many domains were showcasing.

Hand reg will still win by more margin....
