Are there any experienced domainers here who are members of Domainers Edge? I joined recently and I am new to the business and was wondering if it worth spending the $100 a month or can I do the same thing with free resources or software.

Do you think I should make some money first and drop the service or will it give me the advantage of finding more profitable domains faster than most domainers in the business?

Regards,
Dan

I was with them for a while, but couldn't justify the expense. I dropped in July, but the data mining they provide is very good. My only problem with the data, was sometimes it was unreliable and they didn't refresh their database often enough. I'd go back to them if they included domain keys and charged less... Say $25/month... Might be worth it then....

Any other company that stands out above the rest? Is ExpiredDomains.com updating regularly these days?

I just checked out the ExpiredDomains.com site. It looks very similar to what Domainers Edge does and it is a hell of a lot cheaper. I am just wondering if you can filter results as nice as Domainers Edge does with its database. If not I think Domainers Edge is probably better in regards to saving time with filtering through link popularity, Alexa, Dmoz, Overture, etc...

It might be worth it just too try it out and than once I start to make money switch back to Domainers Edge. I also found another site called PremiumDrops.com which is free for now and has lots of cool resources for domainers like bulk domain check. Type-In traffic checker and expired domain lists that you can filter results with.

Stay away from expireddomains.com they suck! Web functions don't work, they never update! They send you emails with lists, you can find lists for free (search Google)! DomainersEdge is OK, but the price is to high, email Matt and ask for the special price (something in 40$ per month). My recommendation is to buy D.R.T (http://www.domainresearchtool.com) and use this tool with the lists from (http://www.premiumdrops.com) is the same guy. D.R.T cost 249.99$, if interesting pm me for a special price -50%.

domainersedge has given me the info to make $100 per day parking domains.
Their TDNAM lists are instant money makers.
and after introducing "orphan" domains, the $100 fee per month is nothing.
and Matt is a nice guy, too.

What are "Orphan Domains"? Are these the domains they sell in the domain store for a discounted price? I was not aware that there is a superpremium membership or a discounted one. Can you explain more please.

When you say the TDNAM lists, do you mean the current domains in auction at TDNAM.

I have read good things about D.R.T., but I heard you need a lot of proxies in order for it to work properly.

Dan

Had to chime in: My experience with expireddomains was horrible. Communication was non-existent and I could not even access my account for many months. I was forced to file a complaint with PayPal for my annual subscription, got my money back, and they STILL ignored me. "they suck" puts it mildly.
