Reports a couple of weeks ago about increases in .mobi traffic - how is it for you now?

Mine has remained steady since the 18th

I have a name which is a keypad typo, I have it in both .mobi and .com - the .mobi has had over 49 hits / 17 clicks / 34.69% ctr / $2.13 - the .com over the same period, zilch!!

Anyone make any sense of this, 'cos I can't!

I haven't seen much increase this week. What domains are seeing the most traffic for you? My biggest performer right now at Sedo is navy with 38 uniques for the past 32 days. But I'm still not sure what "unique" means at Sedo.

It's hard to say which domains are getting the most, because I only have 130ish .mobis across all sorts of themes.

Money wise, my best has made $5.76 from 41 hits and 28 clicks - I'm looking for similar names to reg but there don't seem to be many left.

There must be plenty of others seeing the same kind of results this past two weeks.

I had something like 140 hits this month for 25 names, but I don't have any click. I have had a bit more hits recently, but no clicks. I did not spend much time to optimize, but I got only one click since November...

Can you see from which region are your clicks?

Maybe it was just coming up with more-appropriate ads? As long as they're not all coming from the same place, seems like maybe you should keep those at NameDrive...

So for those of you getting large numbers of visitors to parked pages, what type of names are you seeing the most traffic at? Feel free to divulge actual names, but if not, what's the general trend? Real estate, news, sports, etc.?

My current 32-day top 5 sedo parked mobi pages for visits are navy, gaming, riviera, faire and emeryville. 261 uniques in total for 67 names at sedo. I moved some names to namedrive and the visits dropped. Not many clicks on the ads, I suspect it's mostly domainers hunting for names right now.

Nearly all my mobis are at Namedrive - as soon as I reg 'em, I park 'em and as a rule I don't touch them after that - so I suppose most of them have been there for 4-6 months.

Maybe it was just coming up with more-appropriate ads? As long as they're not all coming from the same place, seems like maybe you should keep those at NameDrive...

The traffic is across all themes as far as I can see, but then my names are split over lots of different subjects. The traffic on the names I've checked is probably 50% North America, 25% European and 25% 'other'.

Some of the adult names have been clicked on Arabic topics, so I guess thats the 'other' region.

Today, 31 hits. Not sure why. Maybe it's bot time? Or maybe the mysterious flurry of hits we saw earlier in the month has returned

It definitely has to be something to do with either bots or investors, granted my 357 names not including antioxidants.mobi often receive 0-2 hits per day.
edit: They're intentionally not parked so as to determine natural traffic increases.

I have a lot of my names that are directed to my host and that have a basic page. I get my traffic stats from awstats which is fairly reliable. I didn't see the big spike in traffic like you guys did. I'm wondering if it had something to do with sedo or namedrive.

That's what I'm thinking - NDs pages get a good compliancy rating 5/5 usually, don't know about Sedos, but may be helping them to get into SEs.
