What distro of Linux should I use!?

Just wandering, what distribution of Linux should I use? Just on a PC, not a web server.

Downloading both now, I remember using Ubuntu once AAGGGESSS ago on a P2 machine (I think), was quite good.

Anyone have any more suggestions for distros?

You can even get it free from their website, and test before your install.

I prefer Gentoo.

Gentoo is good, i've used it, but does take a while to get up and running on it.

Ubuntu is what I use, and suggest to everyone wanting to use linux.

I downloaded a Live CD first and I'll check it out (slax i think its called). Then I'll add a partition and install Fedora, and if I dont like it I can always change to Ubuntu or Gentoo :tu:.

It does depend on your requirements of the Operating system and what you want it to do, however i find that most of my clients use CentOS on their production servers, closely followed by redhat.
