Part of a college project, we are making a linux live cd, being the geeks we are we have called it l33t0x, because we can.

It's fundamentally a geek distro.
the default desktop background is a custom demotivational poster, it's basically internet "cult" (all your base/lolcats/bash/serious of tubes/ytmnd and so on) in a distro.

What do you think we should bundle with this distro?
sofware/media(sounds/theme) and so on.

Should be a laugh.

LOLCATS, in a DISTRO!? I'm in love :p

Well, you will want the geekiest and most difficult software possible, so here is a list of CLI-based programs for you:

• mc - file manager
• vim - a real programmer's text editor
• lynx - a browser
• wget - downloader
• cplay - media player
• And you'll also want to be familiar with the terminal. Why not a text-based LiveCD?

Also, you may want to use a custom desktop environment. I generally use:

• Fluxbox - window manager
• iDesk - desktop manager
• XFE - file manager
• xscreensaver - screensaver program

And if you want it to be really impressive, use a stupidly complex calculator like Qalculate - it supports maths in roman numerals! :D
