does anybody know when the first four RFP names are too be announced?

It's officially April 30th now where I live. No clue on Dublin time -- must be into the early morning?

Anyway, hopefully they'll announce it soon. And let's hope the winners do indeed put up sites on these important names.

okay.
just got off the phone to Caroline at mtld. what a lovely lady!
just as well i spoke to her as i think she's from Northern Ireland & i had trouble with the accent, so you guys would stand no chance! lol
she rang me from Chicago, i mentioned Namepros.com & how we are the main guys (private investors/individuals) & it's where we hang out.
I said Pinky was familiar with the site & was meant to be popping over to see us soon.
To cut to the quick she said it would be decided in next couple of weeks, she said it was a learning experience for them too, so much to do.
she asked if any of us had applied. i said not to my knowledge & that we were more interested in the knock-on effect & seeing nice sites developed.
my personal opinion was great if went to big firms that would promote.
it was nice as she sounded as if she would genuinely be as happy to go to small guys if they showed could do a job.
i agreed as some of the best developed sites are by small guys/developers imo, but they/we lack the funds to promote, even adword campaigns.
i invited her over to namepros or even someone lower down in the foodchain to always keep us posted. she seemed keen.
i also mentioned how we noticed polo.mobi & amtrak.mobi had sites up
she sounded happy.
all in all a real nice lady & they are very 'human' over at mtld, but still no firm date.

The next couple of weeks could end up being a while so I'm just gonna now ignore every date they put up and just be happy when they finally announce the winners.

At least we have an interview with Pinky coming up in a week.
