Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

As a huge aviation enthusiastic, the first VR domain what I checked was VRcockpit dotcom, and dissapointedly noted that it was (obviously) reserved. I moved on, ignored aviation keywords, but today another one flashed through my mind. So I used my very last GD coupon which was saved for emergency registrations if something would come up, and gave birth to:
VRflightdeck.com

I know it's far, far behind VRcockpit, but I believe VR going to have a huge role in the aviation industry, especially in education, so I think it will find the right developer by the time.

I agree, VR is going to be huge for aviation. Not just for fun, but people of all ages could learn to be a pilot or prepare themselves for the real thing.

I've had VRAirplanes (dot com) and VRHelicopters (dot com) for a while and recently picked up VRFlightSchool (dot com)

I agree, I recorded vrflightsimulators.com, and German, vrflug.com - vrflüge.com (German flight/s).

There are specialized investors in the German market, I recommend you empleeis a little of your time to check it may be worth investing in it.

A lot of people in this thread are registering VR+ a keyword that has nothing to do with VR. I know some of you are excited how very easy it is to put VR in front of any word, but common sense shows in these sales below:

If you look at the VR sales over 1k just in 2015:
VRxxx/com 10,000
VRtech/com - 5,000
VRware/com - 1,033
VRnews/com - 1,050
VRcasino/com - 1,050
VRlive/com - 2,000
VRkingdom/com - 1,000
VRwonder/com - 2,000
VRexpo/com - 4,595
DreamVR/com - 2,000
RiverVR/com - 5,000

There is a trend, but here is the criteria:
1) Everything but RiverVR is easy to relate to VR.
2) Only two(2) Keyword+VR have sold over 1k this year. versus nine(9) VR+keyword
3) All .com
4) only VR+ Single word.. NOT: VR+word+word or VR+word+word+word etc

I hope I'm not bursting anyones bubble, i know how fun and exciting it can be when you first start domaining. I just wanted to point out the obvious because some of you are overlooking it.

I sold RIVERVR and I think the buyer is related to Rothenberg Ventures (rothenbergventures.com/river). If true it is closely related to the VR. And if this is not the buyer, maybe the name will be used for VR 360 LIVE STREAMING BROADCASTING ...

Or maybe you're right and it has nothing to do with the VR.

All records of vr, both good and bad, are beneficial to our business, the sooner they last better.

In my humble opinion we have to start saying and repeat as often as possible, which are no longer domains vr quality or not.

The experience and daily market analysis gives us the opportunity to invest more in one direction than in another. Sure most of us involved in this domains forum have bad or not good domains, and certainly sooner or later we let drop. You do not fell a loss or error. It costs the same to renew a good domain that a not good. We must concentrate on those we think have more future. Sooner or later always comes the RENEWS DILEMMA.

domainers are regging VR+keyword mostly...
Companies prefer what they like.. if they find keyword+vr for reg fee they go behind it..

If someone has a lot of faith in one keyword, as a precautionary measure would not hurt to hang also registering the word to the left. Many companies and end users prefer to pay a register of $ 9 per keywordVR dot com to pay $ XXXX per VRkeyword dot com. Registering both strengthen your sales strategy and purchase alternatives you block, but I also think that VRkeyword is almost always the first choice.

This our opinion should not be widely shared because a few days after we were talking about this and were still free bet gambing so as nobody wanted the reg me.

Regarding web or net, I agree with you again, I have the web-vr.com, and mobilevrweb.com, and the vrnet not occurred to me before, but now that you mention a few that I see can gusrtar much.

VR +KW or KW + VR both are good when the are sold.
I sometimes dont understand why companies with so much of funding take some crap names for reg fee rather than shedding away few xxxx$ and get a good domain. Making an online presence needs (a) good domain(s). Some companies are lucky enough to get what they want for reg fee though.
