Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Feel free to showcase your VR domains If you like...

How do you guys (and ladies ) think of VR+keyword+app .com domains? I have some nice ones. You know, sedo and the typo domain whatsap.com is generating 460.000+ visitors a month...

Insane for a typo domain with mobile users...

So... If some big VR companies make apps. And with Google awarded with the .app domain register rights... You can profit big time. Just redirect the traffic to a affiliate offer or sell to end user.

I would advice everyone to register at least a couple of good VR App domains.

Very nice domain. But for branding i like the shorter VR. And when a user want more "apps" and not just one single app it is more likely they will search this keyword in google and not direct navigation. But i have also some VR+keyword+apps domains...

I managed to hand register VirtualWatch.net & VirtualDownload.net for $9 on the 12th & 26th March 2015. Although it is a .net I believe it will have very decent value in a 5-7years years especially within the Asian market. On archive.org VirtualWatch.net was originally registered 7th May 2004.
.Com is king but I think occasionally there's no harm in trying a few other gltds.
I have parked VirtualWatch.net at Sedo and within 3days 6,855 uniques, 4,963 clicks $3.70 EUR earnings and then Sedo drop the searches. I always find this happens at Sedo when you start earning and get high volume traffic they will drop your searches somehow...

I also hand registered VirtualHoloWorld.com & VitualHoloGames.com with godaddy coupon at $1.99 each.

I'm new to these forums so pop over and say hello as networking is the key for everyone's success... I find namepros a lot better than DNF with active users... NamePros is a great and current, love it!!!

yes of course. if anyone can afford appending 2 or 3 or X keywords to vr then more power to them.. none of my biz.

I am sticking only to my 3 best friends:
vr, virtual and virtualreality

probably in that order.. however, I am still tempted to register virtualreality+premium keyword before I register vr+lesspremium keyword..

I know VR+keyword is most popular and the best choice.

But just for some thoughts.

vrsex.com versus vrsextube.com

It will be harder to compete in Google with a very generic vrsex domain. You will have all the news sites (mainstream) and tubes / blogs to compete with. It will be more easy to rank vrsextube.com. Type-In traffic wise the VR+keyword will be king but don't underestimate the current habbits and services people use. The tubes for adult and a lot different products for casinos. With sites like sextube.com the vr domain will profit from the habbits from people.
