Virtual Reality Domains (VR)

Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Feel free to showcase your VR domains If you like...

Cheers

I'm not actually sure which is better, but I would have thought VirtualShopping would probably get the most type in traffic.

VirtualShopping
VRShopping
VirtualRealityShopping
VShopping

I'm down to six old school Premium ones.

The best being 2 lll.com and a super duper LLLL.com

not in any rush to sell them

hmmm.. then that leaves open a few more handregs from what I saw during my searches..

where VR+keyword was taken.. V+keyword could be avilable.

Remember guys - I'll share a tip it's not a race to 1000 VR domains you'll get no reward no achievement on buying up everything VR ,V & Virtual.

Focus on quality always bearing in mind the " why " would a enduser
" want " this domain and " would " you use this domain.

It's quiet easy to reg and post $1 gd code - end of the month it looks a lot more then a $1 when you do the maths.

Buy Smart.

thanks,
can get tricky predicting what users and market that aren't quite here yet will be interested in

mayeb this is why many people end up more or less guessing

so from looks of it some of us are just better at guessing than others

I have about 400 HOLO / VR domains.

Some rubbish ones which I hope I can still flip for minimum $50-$100 in a year or so. Some good ones which I'm happy to keep for two to three years if needed and some very good ones (imo) that I am actually looking for either joint ventures or leasing opportunities and willing to hold out for 4-6 years before selling.

Another tip is don't reg tons of random crap but take that money and buy one good name that you can sell.

I think I'll have to wait a few years for Vr gets really big and everyone has one till my domain vrrepairs.com gets popular. When do you guys think that might be.

For example when the smart phone came out I'd say that smartphonerepair.com is a massive premium domain now

What do you guys think

Go and buy a solid VR domain mate instead of waiting :)

In a few years VR headsets become so cheap that it's easier and cheaper to buy a new one then getting it repaired?

I guess your VRRepairs could refer to anything being repaired in VR like a VR repair shop or something.

yeha.. it's kind of hard to repair things that aren't here yet.. same goes for any other vr related names

so its long term investmnet on one hand and yet sales already happening

but hey.. like we talked before.. 5-10 years from now there may not eve be internet as we know it aqny more .. with current domaining structure and web addresses etc... no dot coms or what not..

wouldn't thqat be something if by time voirtual reality takes over our homes and lives and gaming entertainement, we will not be using .coms on internet any more at all.

ha.

how are people selling names like vrflash / snapvr?, to end users? if so who?

I can't imagine people using type in traffic on these so I don't know how to market domains I have like this...

Hi, I sold SNAPVR.com . It was through SEDO auction . Do not think VR developers always have the trade name of your product. It may be that if they see a list name you like and guide the development in this way. Your domain visibility is as important as the quality thereof. Luck.

Hard to say if there will be any wrestling/fighting games for virtual reality or not, but it could be fun watching WWE, UFC and other fighting events in VR.

VRWrestling ( dot com )
VRFighting ( dot com )
