Virtual Reality Domains (VR)

Spaceship Spaceship
Watch
Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Feel free to showcase your VR domains If you like...

Cheers

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
I have noted a lot traffic on my VRVegas and VirtualVegas in .info

Good luck!

Hohhoo!!

@Winfluence ,thats a blast(post) from the past!

VRExperiences
Sold off to a member here for a decent price.

VegasVR
got many offers, few negotiations ran. Out of many, a single buyer approached me thrice and asked me to hold it for him!! :D
few NP members too are interested in this bling-bling domain!

bdw ...LasVegas.com has launched an app on this name! > VegasVR

TouristVR
Nothing much happened on this.

Cheers!

No offers today, I'm thinking it's due to it being Sunday.

Anyone else got something through today or not?

Bad advice!!! He should definitely not sell 3DVR.com quickly, unless there's a decent offer. It's a premium or near premium name in my opinion, so make sure you don't under-estimate it's value. .

Like I said before I'm not underestimating this domain it's a great domain but how many "tech" domains have become obsolete over time because they effect my have cornered themselves.

Ok I'll let the cat out of the bag. I regged 4k domains. 4k? 3d?

If I told you I had 4kvr.com what would you guys day then?

As it was explained to me such keywords is just inevitably becomes outdated. And everyone will be on the next cool new moniker.

If I'm wrong here I welcome being corrected as I am learning too here. Thanks.

6D, 7D, 8D, 9D, 10D those things are a load of crap imo. I wouldn’t go near them.

3D will soon be standard in VR, so whilst 3DVR may always be a good brandable, it could become redundant - I think with things like HD/3D/4D I think you need to have both variants like the guy who owns both VRHD and HDVR realised or they aren’t worth as much – He said he’s received a $40k offer for both, I highly doubt he would have got a $20k offer if he just had the 1.

Well, without 3D there is no VR. It is the essential part of VR for immersion. Otherwise it is 360 monovision.
As a keyword, it predates the internet. I can't see it going anywhere.
HDVR / VRHD I can only value as a 4L .com With a potential from 1.5k to 10k+ possible.

4D has come to represent several things.
But more importantly for us, it is leaning to a certain type of Holography in VR & AR.

It's a freaking VRWasteland for me lately.

Nothing cooking, anywhere. Turned turned some low ball offers on Flippa yesterday for 4L VR.

4Dlightfield.com here , only future will tell its value

4KVR
I would say it is a excellent name. Very soon it will have value to someone.
But that does have a limited time of high value. and it is longer that you might think.
A company that might use it would probably also realize this but it has enough value to them to use it for 3 years. It's unlikely to fetch over 2.5k.
Just because it is a likely set of facts, it does not mean it needs to be a opportunity missed !

You only need to realize the same in your timing and pricing. Don't hold it to long or overprice it.
Company's buy domains for short term traffic seo all the time. And they pay well for them.
Most do not study this type of value.
It's all about marketing value that really drives most names valuations.
I would say you need to find a buyer for it in the next year - 18 months.

But I should also add that 4K VR right now is really 2K + 2K VR not 4K realized by the eyes.

Depends on the name and extension, and if it makes sense.
I agree, popularity and demand in market for industry helps too. In my opinion, live racing (car, horse, etc.) and live VR events going be extremely popular. Along with VR space environments, especially when peps actually start living in space.

I just moved my domains from DomainNameSales to their partner (or whatever they are) Uniregistry. A domain that I had 4 inquiries for according to DNS turned out to have 31 inquiries when moved to Uniregistry.
:guilty:

In the time I've had my premium VR domains on UNI, I've had zero offers but at least 3-4 on each at SEDO.

First off, Happy VR Page 900!!!! (Amazing...)

Secondly, I recently migrated over to the integrated Uniregistry/DNS platform and have had offers come in on the following VR names over the last few weeks... (Sadly, no closed deals yet as I'm pricing very aggressively!;)) Point being, the traffic is definitely out there, even if deals aren't closing as frequently as the pricing firms up... JMHO...

Recent Uni vr name inquiries:

Fashion VR
Prayer VR
VR stickers
VR vest
Sport VR
Wedding VR

Great info and news, thanks for sharing. Good Luck! Virtual Reality is just picking up steam in mainstream. With exception of a few, ex. startup domain names, are we better off waiting for the market to catch up and demand to grow before pushing VR domain sales?

Hi guys.

Today sunday I have received a new offer by:

If we reach an agreement of sale I will inform you of the final price and the trading platform.

Many people knocked to the gates of heaven, but few are willing to pay to enter.

You should showcase your own names, not the names of others.
