Virtual Reality Domains (VR)

Spaceship Spaceship
Watch
Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Feel free to showcase your VR domains If you like...

Cheers

Tried HTC Vive...finally. OMFG. Blown away. Just blown away. I'm scared what we will have in five years.

I'm on the fence now about getting a VIVE. Might have to wait a bit and see what comes out.

Hi,

I've been lurking for a few years now. Figured I'd finally join in and share some general info from my sales:

- 1 mid X,XXX
- 3 low X,XXX
- A LOT of mid-high XXX (600-900 range)

Every single one was Buy-It-Now at the major marketplaces. These include VR____, _____VR, and even a handful of virtualreality_______ names. All .COM. ***** I've bought a lot of names though, so after renewal fees over multiple years and new purchases it's not as great as it looks unfortunately ****

The last few months have been very slow, but the tech is clearly picking up with the recent Apple Mac announcement. AR looks like it's starting where VR was 2-3 years ago and could be huge too, but I'm not sure they will need domains and websites to describe their product as much as deep VR experiences do. Exciting times for both techs for sure.

Cheers!

Hi, @nametechnology!

Welcome to NP, and welcome to this awesome thread!

Thanks for sharing this with us! And as other contributors here have voiced, any specifics you can share with the domains you have sold as well as the sale price will only help domains in this niche reach its true value sooner. I've posted all my sales here that I haven't been asked to keep private. And I hope you guys have benefited from that.

Looking forward to wealth and future sales!

Edit: Also, I'm not sure if anyone here is keeping track of the domain name sales specifically (and maybe exclusively) posted here, but if anyone does, please share it so we can keep track as a community! And don't forget reporting your sales to namebio.com is uber helpful because of their search tools. I probably need to submit some there myself.

Does anyone envisage any TM issues with these?

Someone dropped this. With all of the WebVR content that's going to be developed in the coming years, I'm happy with this. VR cloud services in general are already a thing.

WebVRTutorials is nice!

But I'd warn that freelancers tend to be broke and there are already a ton of sites for freelancers. There wouldn't be a point for a company to focus just on servicing freelancers who just develop WebVR.

Fallout looks like a phenomenal experience.

Saw this mind-boggling video on Twitter randomly today from Twitter handle VoxelKei. Looks like their website might be jpnvr.com:
