Virtual Reality Domains (VR)

Spaceship
Watch
Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Feel free to showcase your VR domains If you like...

Cheers

Am I the only one betting on the "360" prefix too? VR is fine and dandy but technically not all of the stuff that will be watched in the Oculus rift and other VR head stes is virtual reality. I mean movies aren't really "virtual Reality", at least we don't call them that. There are already 360 degree video cameras on the market. So I'm thinking 360 is a good bet. So far I've got:

360tvshows.com
360documentaries.com

and some others.

I appologize if I am in the wrong for posting that here. I just think all aspects of VR is interesting to discuss. I too have alot of VR domain names. But if that is a misstake or there are other opportuneties I for one would be interested in hearing about that. It's a thread about virtual reality domains, not a linguistic thread for the letters VR.

yes, this is the linguistic thread about virtual reality domains ..hence the VR prefix in bracket.

well.. u don't need to go anywhere. I was talking about domain names not you.

thre could be 1 billion aspects to VR technology as you say. one billion combinations for vr domains. we already saw 1000 domain combos here alone lol.

but does this mean we have to mix everything into one thread? no. thats confusing.

it means we should open 1 million threads for each thing.

then whoever likes what.. goes there.

I have no interest. in halo domains. so I came to vr thread.
I have no interest in ar domains so I came here.
I have no interest in mbvrghdw+keyword domains so I came here.

cheers

lol... well.. I hope you didn't do that all just for melol
jk

I think it's importnat to make distinction between potential technologies and then domain names. it's not necesszarily same thing.

I see nothing wrong with people talking about some new cool potential vr techs here.. posting videos etc.. it's great.. but to make the switch from there and that tech to an actual domain name.. and have 20 pages of domain regs with that keyword posted here.. well.. imo that's not for this thread.

but.. I don't make the rules.. if people prefer your idea then more power to you. as long as we accomodate majority of people here, then I'm okay with that. we just gotta make sure its the majority.

I don't get that thing with regestering "VRcucumber" or "VRasphalt" or something. I register things I feel will serve a purpose for someone. VR will be awesome for learning langauge (or anything for that matter). Imagine if you are trying to learn a word in japanese - "sushi" for example. And you can do that standing in a sushi bar in Tokyo.

I feel alot of people just register any word with VR in front of it. I dont see the point.

No reason for offense guys. I enjoy the discussion here, which name combination(s) will be best for VR. :)
