Very Weird or Just Normal Case [Indexing]

Hi guys,

I do not know if thats normal. I recently dev'd a .info domain, and Googlebot hit my site about 70 hits, publicized it through feedburner, famous blog sig, little digging in high PR pages, and even in google webmaster account I can see the googlebot hits. However, nothing is indexed in Google.

I used to have blogs indexed within minutes of post using the same plugins and structure. Why things are different now?

Does this mean my domain is banned for some odd reason I cant find out? Or just.. "I need to wait more ? :)"

It could either be banned or in the sandbox.

If the site you're talking about is blogforex.info, then it's not been banned. Check it here.

dmi, Thanks yes it is. :)

What does site:domain basically do? Cause when I enter the domain alone it does not return anything.

Much appreciated

"site:domain.ext" shows all pages of that site that Google indexed. You may also want to play around with "allinurl:domain.ext" and "allinanchor:domain.ext".

Very good post Dmi. I have this problem every time I develop a new website. Google has an delay some times (I didn't know why it is not always) to correct index and show results for new sites, even with the best plugins.

It's called the "Sandbox effect". You can read more about it here.
