I have been developing and promoting my website (link in sig) for the last few weeks now, and I saw that there has been a PR update.. however, my website is still not in the google search or in Dmoz... What do you think I should do?

I have a few sites linking to me, and I have linked them.. and I've submitted my site to various directories... How come my site has not been crawled and indexed?

Please help!

Is there a reason why my site has not been included in the indexing?

I don't know what's going on, I've been waiting for both Google and Yahoo to index my site www.wolfmother.net for weeks now. It's front page on MSN search already, has a few good links ... but no bloody indexing on Google or Yahoo.

Very strange.

It will be, seems like it's a little over a month old?
I wouldn't worry imo.
Edit: Posted too fast.
My BMI site in my sig took almost 6 weeks to cache.

my site got indexed in two days and within a week it was recieving 30 visitors a day from google. All you need is backlinks.

The problem is that I already do have backlinks.. Each backlink is between PR 1-4. So I don't know what is going on... Do I just wait? Do I submit my site somewhere?

I've tried submitting to dmoz and I've had no luck.. I don't know if they approved my site yet or not...

I'm not going anything against Google or Yahoo's TOS either... So do I just wait?

Believe me, I know what you mean. My site #1 on MSN for "baseball recruiting." It just gets me mad that I can't get listed in the more popular search engines.. If Google and/or Yahoo indexed me, I'm sure I would see a significant increase in traffic..

Yes, it is a little over a month old. Hopefully this month a spider crawls the site and indexes it. That would be amazing.

Until then, what else should I do?

You did submit your url at least, right? Not that it helped me.

I guess it's just taking them a while at the moment.

pr 1-4 dont mean much to google, you really need a PR 6+

Just take care of many good backlinks..

Last week I was within a week at the top10 for over around 40 keywords in MSN , 1 keyword ranked first at Google and 5 other keywords in the top40 in Google..

50~100 unique visitors within a week from search engines!
