Delayed indexing of Blogger / Blogspot blogs?

Normally when I set up a site I am indexed by Google within days, a week at most. I am experimenting with a Blogger blog, however, and have yet to have a single page indexed. The blog has been up now for about... 10 days? I have used Google's /addurl feature, linked to the site from some other related sites, etc., but no progress.

Is it normal for Blogger blogs to take an abnormally large amount of time to be indexed?

Thanks.

P.S. Yes, I allow for search engines to crawl/index my site in the "Settings."

don't worry, that's normal. Blogs and articles posted on blogger or Wordpress may suffer from delayed indexing by Google. This is because search engines are still checking the content and links.

BE patient. You need to wait for a couple of days. Just continue in building links to your site. It helps.

Well, it has already been a good 10 days or so. I am so used to having my sites picked up by Google within a couple of days... but it seems regardless of what I do Google just won't index my Blogger blog. It is set up as more of a static site than a blog, but the content is still unique and useful.

I will update this thread if/when it gets indexed.

or it maybe, you are doing too much link building that your site might send on the sandbox. WHat do you think?

Why are you poorly retyping my post? I feel most responses in this thread are either from bots or people who simply neglect to properly read my initial post.

Anyway, I have finally been indexed, so all is well. It seems it really is just delayed.
